Dubrovnik Islands Walking

There are many beautiful places in the world, however, the people of Dubrovnik claim their city to be the most beautiful. This is where the warm, southern climate, the spacious blue sky, the emerald green and dark blue crystal clear sea depths touch the rocky shore and spill into numerous coves and bays, onto sandy beaches and steep reefs decorated with the lushest Mediterranean and subtropical flora. This holiday is designed for those who wish to explore the most beautiful places of the Dubrovnik area in Croatia by walking / hiking.

The city of Dubrovnik is situated in the very south of the Republic of Croatia. It is a work of human inspiration, true in harmony and form. This fortress town was founded in the first half of the 7th century and now holds a spot on the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites. Apart from a great history, Dubrovnik is well known for the beautiful nature that surrounds it. Lopud, Kolocep and Sipan belong to the Elaphiti Islands archipelago – 13 green islands covered by pine forests, free of traffic, with lots of sunshine and sandy beaches, and under an hour’s sailing time from Dubrovnik. They are not just places of incredible natural beauty, but also open air museums of history, art, architecture and folklore.
