Villa Orange 2 is one of two villas of the property situated in the old town Bol on the island of Brač. Both of the villas are made in the same partly traditional and partly modern fashion – meaning that some of their built consists out of stone blocks, some is concrete, they have typical green wooden window shades and a red tiled roof. The property encompasses a significant amount of arable land which is home to lush vegetation like olive groves and citrus fruits, which is great for anyone who loves to be in vicinity of nature, its fine fragrances and colors. The terrace of the villas is a tiled spacious surface on two levels – the upper one you reach from within the villas, and it has a function of a balcony, as it is closed with a balustrade and furnished with a wooden table with benches. The lower level, the garden level, is the lounging area where a swimming pool is located, an open shower and a lovely wooden pergola which provides shade from the sunshine. There is a number of deck chairs you may position around the pool or under the pergola and admire the gorgeous view of the sea and the island of Hvar on the other side.
Each villa is divided into two spacious, luxurious and comfortable lodgings, accommodating up to 10 people which in total makes 20 people. Each lodging consists of two separate apartments, accommodating 6 and 4 people (4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) and are rented as one. Each apartment has a separate entrance and ample off-street parking and comes complete with the before mentioned swimming pool and an outdoor BBQ area. The interior of the villas is made mostly in modern fashion – with a lovely combination of golden brown, green, beige and white throughout the well-used space. The furniture is comfortable, interestingly designed and fairly elegant, as is the lighting system and the abundance of really cool lamps. In terms of decorations the villas are rich with a great choice of painting, pictures and all sorts of Mediterranean themed ornaments that really fit the place. Both the kitchen and the bathrooms are fully equipped with all the elements of modern living, the villas are air conditioned, pet friendly, with internet and WiFi. A maid service is available on request, and so is a private chef if you ever wish to try some fine local cuisine at home.
Once you get acquainted with the town, we suggest you take a walk along the tree-lined promenade (5min from the villa) from Bol to the Zlatni Rat beach, a local landmark that shouldn’t be missed. Out near the beach there are options for watersports, such as the ever popular windsurfing! If you get restless and wish to discover more of the island, there is an abundance of opportunity. For instance, right above Bol towers the highest peak of Brač, Vidova Gora (778m), and from there you can see great beauty in every direction. Be sure it would pay off to visit the island’s top! Furthermore, there’s an old hermitage of Blaca, a monastery which is sure to leave you in awe once you feel the weight of the ages. For the more adventurous types, out near the village of Murvica there is a cave you’d surely enjoy. With an enthusiastic guide and a 45min hike up to the cave, it is an experience worthy of retelling! And all that is only near the town of Bol...
