Lovely Villa Marina is located in Marina, a tourist resort and a small harbor near the old Dalmatian town of Trogir (20km). Being in such a little harbor and a bit away from the more populated places, the villa is a perfect place for families and friends who wish to spend their vacation in peace and quiet. The villa contains many of the Mediterranean aesthetical elements without straying too far into history. The modern / traditional villa has a ground floor and 2 upper floor. The façade is covered in white stone, while on the sea facing side each floor has two glass slide doors, making the building symmetrical. Each of the two upper floors has a balcony with a lovely, thin iron fence, and along with the main terrace they provide a glorious view of the bay, both the sea and the adjacent coast, while some islands are visible in the distance. The terrace is paved in faded brown tiles and it houses a lovely infinity pool. There are sun loungers by the pool and a little beach table between them, making it a great spot for chilling out during the day. At a certain time of the day, the little palm tree behind the loungers create a fine shade. Right by the house there is a pergola which covers a fireplace. Next to it there is a large wooden dining table, providing you the opportunity of enjoying your meals outdoors!
As you enter the villa, the style gets more traditional than modern, making the interior very graceful and warm. Antique furniture adorns the spaces, like the dining room table with a set of chairs, a TV stand, a sofa, a coffee table and more. Decorations are abundant and mainly consisting of framed pictures and paintings on the walls, framed mirrors and plants in vases. The lighting is very commendable as well, with the elegant old school lamps completing the theme of the interior, which is present in all of the villa’s rooms. With 240m2 and 4+1 bedrooms, Villa Marina can accommodate 10 people (8+2) . On the ground floor there is a living/dining room with an exit to the terrace. Ground floor also includes a sauna, a shower place and a small toilet. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom, balcony access and comfortable beds. A small gym is also located on the 1st floor. On the 2nd floor there are two rooms with en suite bathrooms, also each with balcony access and beautiful sea view. A spare room with a double bed is also located on the same floor. The kitchen is fully equipped for your needs in terms of meal preparation. The villa is air conditioned, pet friendly, with internet and Wi-Fi for mobile devices. Behind the villa there is a parking space for three cars. Maid service is available on request, as is a private chef!
The nearest store, restaurant and coffee bar is 4 km from the house in center of Ljubljeva. The villages of Ljubljeva and Vinisce represent a perfect location, or a great starting point for all excursions in the closer and wider area. There you will find all you need in terms of grocery shopping, as well as a couple of restaurants, taverns and bars. Being close to famous historical sites is also an advantage – the villa is 40km away from Šibenik and Split, and 20km from Trogir as mentioned before. All of those cities offer a lot to explore, like their history and plenty of fun summertime content, as well as many festivals taking place during summer months. There are plenty opportunities for activities such as cycling, hiking, sailing, scuba diving and other sports. Additionally, you may want to visit the nearest national parks which are sure to blow away all the nature enthusiasts; Krka NP, Paklenica NP and nature park Biokovo.
