Welcome to Little Maria, a newly built luxurious villa (2016) that will surely satisfy all your needs for a perfect vacation. The villa is located near the village called Posedarje in Zadar County. Being on the outskirts and surrounded by a few other villas, it will surely provide you with the proper peace and quiet. It is in the second row from the closed off Novigrad sea, giving you two more advantages: a great proximity to the beach and a great view all around, both from the courtyard and from the upper floor windows. The design of the villa is delightfully majestic, showing the art of modern aesthetics in all its glory; the simple, minimalistic elements pleasant to the eye, the fine materials and a good choice of colors, the built-in lighting system greatly elevating the atmosphere at nighttime, and plenty of cool content. As you exit on the terrace of the villa, you have the option of diving into a lovely rectangular pool shaded by a canvass pergola. Next to this pool there is a number of deck chairs to enable you some time under the sun. An outdoor shower is positioned close to the pool as well. As the paved part of the terrace ends, a patch of ground is used as a downward slope, decorated with various plants and reaching another paved part of the courtyard, with a small wooden table, a place for stargazing and long conversations, if you please.
As great as the exterior of Little Maria is, the interior doesn’t fall short in any aspect. Throughout the villa the feeling you get is that of cleanliness, openness and a freshness of sorts, and all that due to the amount of glass surfaces letting in the light that is then reflected off the white painted walls. Most of the furniture and other elements are custom made, like the wooden kitchen elements, the iron stairway with wooden steps, and more. The lighting is once more exquisite, much like the outdoor one. The whole combination of elements, colors and overall harmony reminds one a lot of Nordic simple aesthetics. There are 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, all in the same theme as the remainder of the villa, with comfortable furniture in the bedrooms along with plenty of wardrobe space to store your belongings. Each of the rooms has a flat screen TV. The kitchen is cutting edge, equipped for all your daily needs. The whole place is air conditioned, pet friendly, with internet and Wi-Fi access and maid service available per request
There is a small supermarket, fruit-vegetable-fish market, a cafe and a restaurant in the village of Posedarje, so you shouldn’t have any trouble with the basic grocery shopping needs. However, if you do wish for a richer choice both in terms of shopping and in terms of exploration, we advise visiting the closest city, Zadar. It is one gorgeous and the oldest continuously inhabited Croatian city. It has a rich history which can be learned by visiting many old streets, churches, buildings and forts dating all the way back to the Venetian times, the Crusades and even longer before that. Apart from its history, it offers a lot of content like bars, restaurants, night clubs, rent-a-boat, sailing, diving, sports and much, much more. There’s plenty to see inland as well, like the three national parks – Paklenica, Plitvice Lakes and Krka, offering hiking, rock-climbing and swimming near waterfalls. For more information regarding exploration and accommodation, feel free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
