Villa White is an excellent choice for families or a group of friends who wish to spend their vacation in peaceful luxury, immersing themselves with the spirit of the Mediterranean. The villa is situated in a village called Podstrana, a short drive away from the center of Split, the second-largest city in Croatia. The village is a place of low population density and away from all the tourist hustle, so you should have no problem relaxing in privacy and peace of the property. The surrounding area is known for its natural riches, especially the Mediterranean flora like pine, cypress, fig, olive, lavender and more. You need not stray far from the property to enjoy the natural bliss!
The villa is new and designed in accordance with traditional fashion. Its main material is polished white stone, which makes a really distinguishable effect and makes the villa inviting an imposing. There are balconies on its upper floor with balustrade fences, and from there you can enjoy glorious views of the sea and the Adriatic islands. You enter the villa from the street behind it, and you can park your car on the patio in the shade of the house. Villa White has a large paved terrace and a veranda, along with a lovely spacious courtyard with a fine trimmed lawn. The courtyard is filled with all sorts of interesting vegetation ranging from spices like rosemary, trees like palms and flowers, for instance the bougainvillea. Thus you will surely enjoy quiet strolls through the courtyard, taking the time to fill your batteries after a year of hard work. On the inside, Villa White falls nothing short of the elegance of the exterior. The spaces are well used, the furniture new and comfortable, and the wooden flooring gives warmth to the place making it feel like home. The walls and the ceiling are painted white and they reflect sunlight entering through the glass doors, making the villa airy and open. Contemporary aesthetics are very well implemented in the villa, especially the shiny tiles meeting the wooden surfaces, the black shaded glass fence near the stairway on the upper floor, and this whole setup is even more accentuated by the use of intricate designer lighting. There are some lovely decorations like the old amphora in the living room, and other maritime-themed ornaments throughout the villa. The kitchen has an island with a black top which makes meal preparation all the more easier, and aside that it is fully equipped for all your needs. There are 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, and the villa can accommodate up to 8 persons. The bedrooms have exits to the balconies and receive plenty of sunlight. All the beds are new and comfortable, and there is enough room within the bedrooms to store your belongings. The place is air conditioned, with internet and Wi-Fi access. Podstrana is a nice, quiet tourist town close to Split and located at the foot of the mountain called Mosor. Podstrana consists of five villages, and due to its ideal position, it has been developed as an elite suburb of Split during the recent years. You can enjoy hiking and biking trails (especially if you wish to climb Mosor) and the lovely gravel beaches with a great access to the sea. The prettiest beach in Podstrana is in the proximity of Hotel Le Meridien Lav. The beach has a possibility of renting chairs and umbrellas, and right next to it there is a café and a fine restaurant.
