Can’t wait for summer vacation? Perhaps you’re imagining a nice little place in the heart of the Mediterranean, right by the sea, away from the usual tourist hustle, surrounded by glorious smelling vegetation and offering a near perfect view… Well, all we have to say is – welcome!
Villa Christoph in Tiha Mala on the island of Brač might exactly be what you wished for: only a 5min walk down to the sea, situated in a quiet part of the island, surrounded by signature Adriatic flora and fauna, and just lovely both inside and out. The house is built in a modern Mediterranean fashion, with mostly white walls, green wooden window shades and a red tiled roof, with a nice terrace over which looms a cool wooden beam construction supported by stone pillars. From that very same terrace, and from much of the rooms within the villa, you can enjoy a truly magnificent view out towards the bay of Split, with the island of Šolta on your left, and the continental coast far across the bay. A swimming pool is expected to be available in 2018., if you’re more inclined for a quick refreshing dip, rather than a swim down on the beach. The terrace is also equipped with a fireplace, so if you’re thinking barbecue – you’re thinking right!
The villas interior is stylishly comfortable, the main color themes being white and brown, the two that make a great and refreshing couple. The floors are mostly tiled, and the ceiling exposed wood. All the furniture is simple and elegant, newly purchased from Austria, and fitting to the overall theme. As for the accommodation, the villa can provide it for 10 people. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 of which have double beds and 1 with 4 single beds, and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for meal preparation, and the whole place is air conditioned.
The village of Tiha Mala is around 3km away from Sutivan, the nearest small town where you can find bars, restaurants and supermarkets. For more authentic content, you might want to check out some of the landmarks of Brač: the official centre of the island, Supetar (12km) where, apart from all the festivities throughout summertime, you may explore it’s history – mostly venetian baroque buildings from 18th century, along with 19th century expansion buildings. There is also the old town of Bol (44km) with all the interesting architecture and options such as wind surfing near the famous Zlatni Rat beach, rent-a-boat, jet-ski, etc. Above Bol towers the highest peak of Brač, Vidova Gora, from where you can enjoy a majestic view all around, and Blaca hermitage in the vicinity might be something cool to check out – it’s a remote 16th century monastery built into a cliff you are sure to remember. We are looking forward to your stay!
