Villa Domenica is a high end luxury villa situated on the beachfront of a small village on the southern side of Hvar, called Sveta Nedilja. The villa is one of the most luxurious properties on the island, offering plenty of content, comfort and a breathtaking view of the adjacent islands Korčula and Šćedro. The design of the villa incorporates contemporary elements like a glass fence on the terrace and the balcony, a lot of functionality and elegance, with some touches of traditional aesthetics, like the wooden pergola on the balcony or the stone walls of the villa itself. The property, more precisely its courtyard is very spacious and composed of different levels. The first level of the courtyard is the on right by the villa, and it features a large swimming pool with a number of deck chairs positioned beside it. An outdoor shower can be found by the poo. There is a garden on this level as well, even though various vegetation is spread throughout the estate. The lower level features a Jacuzzi and a special cabin with a kitchen and a dining table, available whenever you want to have a feast right by the sea.
The interior of Villa Domenica is as luxurious as its exterior, but very chic and old school in parts. Some of the surfaces are covered in marble panels, such as in the living room around the fireplace, or within the kitchen. The flooring is mostly covered in light brown tiles resembling wood, while the subtle lighting system is integrated into the ceiling. A certain feeling of elegance and warmth is achieved through the implementation of elements like wooden antique furniture, like a commode or a coffee table, the wrought iron fence within the villa, like on the stairway leading to the upper floor, and carefully placed paintings and pictures. The villa has a private spa unit and a wine cellar offering some of the best Croatian wines, which are actually produced in Sveta Nedilja village. There are 5 bedrooms and 5 en suite bathroom, with one individual bathroom. The kitchen of the ground floor is fully equipped for all your meal preparation needs. The villa comes with a housekeeper and a possibility of having a rubber boat and a skipper at service.
Groceries may be obtained within the village itself, but for other content like fine restaurants, bars, nightclubs, shops and markets, we suggest visiting Hvar town (15min) and Stari Grad (30min). There is an abundance of summertime options available like rent-a-boat, jet-ski and guided tours, and festivals that are often held in the old town. As for the exploration, we suggest visiting Paklinski Islands right next to Hvar, Šćedro island, the Old Town Plain (if you’re up for some wine tasting), Tvrdalj Castle (a fortified Renaissance-era building that was the summer home of poet Petar Hektorović) and Fortica (a hilltop fortress with picturesque views).
