So, vacation is approaching and with it, daydreaming of all the possibilities that could be chosen for the summer… One particularly picturesque image comes to mind – perhaps a rural piece of the Mediterranean, a place filled with fragrant flora, where the wind is cool and refreshing, and the sounds are those of crickets and gulls. Somewhere one can have quality rest, true enjoyment, and even an eventful nightlife and a number of engaging activities. And one can find all of those here in Villa Vita, a glorious stone villa in the center of the old village of Sutivan.
The house and most of the paved courtyard is built out of the famous locally sourced Brač stone, and all that bright stone is in combination with the green of the four beautiful and well-kept gardens. Upstairs, on the terrace, the colors are bright and blue due to the swimming pool and the large sundeck next to it. From this terrace, you can look to the east and see the great beauty of the clean blue sea and the imposing limestone hills on the continental coast. There are two tables out on the terrace, and a built in fireplace within the enclosure walls fit for making barbecue and an outdoor feast. And to help you maintain the health of the body, there are some fitness facilities in the courtyard. You also have options for playing table tennis or foosball with your friends or family! One more thing to mention is that the harmony of architecture and colors is even more accentuated during the evening hours, with the excellent lighting creating a truly romantic atmosphere.
The interior of the villa is in accordance with the exterior, both in the quality and fine taste. The prevailing colors are the white of the walls, brown of the wood, beige of the tiles and a number of subtle colors of the furniture. That furniture is modern, very elegant, carefully picked and perfectly fitted to the general theme of the house. The kitchen is gorgeous, well designed and equipped with all the necessities for meal preparation. The two floors of the villa contain four bedrooms, two double bedrooms with king-side beds (so the villa can host a total of 8 persons), three bathrooms, a sauna and a double garage, so parking is no issue at all. The villa is completely air conditioned, internet and Wi-Fi are available and children are welcome, of course!
For most of the daily shopping needs, you can find a few stores and bakeries around the center of Sutivan (200m), as well as a few cafes. For other content, you might want to check out some of the landmarks of Brač: the official center of the island, Supetar (9km) where, apart from all the festivities throughout summertime, you may explore it’s history – mostly venetian baroque buildings from 18th century, along with 19th century expansion buildings. There is also the old town of Bol (42km) with all the interesting architecture and options such as wind surfing near the famous Zlatni Rat beach, rent-a-boat, jet-ski, etc. Above Bol towers the highest peak of Brač, Vidova Gora, from where you can enjoy a majestic view all around. For more information regarding exploration, feel free to ask. We are looking forward to your stay!
