The gorgeous Villa Dium rests on the upper slopes of Makarska town, overlooking the old center, the open sea and the islands of Brač and Hvar. It is in a quet neighborhood, so privacy and proper rest are guaranteed. The villa is brand new, built in May 2015 and sporting a immaculate, modern look. It is built out of high quality materials painted white and gray that give it a smooth look, and it is designed following the principles of contemporary aesthetics, namely the minimalism of its shapes. The indoor area spans on 3 spacious floors, where the ground floor has a secure garage. There are also a few parking spots in front of the house. The villa has an open, large terrace decorated with lovely plants and completely covered in gray tiles. The area houses a luxurious swimming pool and outdoor lounge chairs which allow you to immerse yourself in the Mediterranean lifestyle and just enjoy your vacation! Chairs are provided on the terrace along with a table, creating an option of having your meals outdoors. The whole area uses excellent lighting system, which at nighttime makes the place look incredibly good. The pool lights can change colors, which is a really cool addition!
The interior of Villa Dium doesn’t fall short from the exterior. In fact, it is even more detailed and well-thought, containing many elements that work together to create a memorable and pleasant impact. The color combination within the villa is red-white-gray, making the place airy, open and fresh. All of the furniture is properly placed and extremely comfortable (especially the living room sofas and the beds in the bedrooms). It is also very elegant, as is appropriate for a villa of such caliber. A fantastic detail in the living room is a large painting of two people illuminated by the turquoise neon light from the ceiling. Every room has an LCD TV and decorations in various forms, like pictures and paintings. The lighting is built into the ceiling in each room as well. The villa has an indoor area of 380m2 across the three floors. There are 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms for up to 8 people. The first floor consists of a bedroom with a bathroom, a kitchen with a spacious living room from which you have access to the terrace with the pool, a shower and a fireplace. The second floor has two bedrooms, one master bedroom (50m2) with a bathroom (bathtub and shower) and a second bedroom, containing a bathroom with a shower. The penthouse floor offers you a king size bed and the terrace with a Jacuzzi. The place is air conditioned, with internet and Wi-Fi for mobile devices.
The town of Makarska has always been the center of Makarska Riviera region, both in an administrative, political and economic sense, as well as a center of culture and education. It is a tourist center, located on a horseshoe shaped bay between Biokovo mountains and the Adriatic sea. The town is noted for its palm-fringed promenade, where cafes, bars and boutiques overlook the harbor. There is plenty to explore in the city, like its old streets in the center or centuries old sacral building like St.Mark’s church. There are appealing opportunities outside of town as well, like visiting Krka national park, Biokovo nature park (there are some great hiking trails), the town of Mostar, Dubrovnik, Botanical garden Kotisina, Park forest Osejava and more.
