There are many things that can refill certain energy lost throughout the long days of hard work, usually within the streets and avenues of big cities. Sometimes we can recuperate with longs walks through the old historical center, city parks, one-day excursions… But nothing is so revitalizing, nothing such a food for soul as the natural experience – spending quality time, days, if not weeks, in a place surrounded by vivid nature, lively fauna and various flora. Those places provide respite from all the fast-paced commotion of the cities, from the smog, the noise and frustration. All of the seasons of the year have their benefits, and all can fit different sorts of people, but if you are a warm weather fan, and a fan of adventure, than this is the right choice for you.
In short, these are large luxurious tents situated on the beautiful island of Murter in the Šibenik archipelago. But there is much more to it than just ordinary camping. Activities involving such elegant, modern, large tents have been christened glamping – a portmanteau of two words: glamour and camping. And it is just the right combination of those two words. The tents are half canvass half wooden structure, meaning that they are supported by a wooden construction, but all other surfaces are made of canvass. The entire structure is positioned on a sturdy wooden platform, beneath which the installations are positioned, enabling all of the elements of the interior to function properly, and to make you feel like home. The tents contain a lot in their aesthetic value, and even more in their utility. As for the looks, the colors are combined with great harmony to create a sort of a romantic, even rustic atmosphere, with the intertwined colors of beige canvass and faded wood. Such a color scheme is an excellent recipient of evening lighting creating a warm, gentle atmosphere that’s hard to forget. The interior is something you wouldn’t normally expect from a tent, and you can quickly become in awe of the elegant surroundings. Everything is so subtle, delicate and decent, everything falls perfectly into place – be it the lovely furniture, mostly consisting of designer products tied thematically to the whole property, the excellent lighting, or the lovely ornaments decorating the tent. The furniture is almost entirely wooden with a few exceptions like some of the elements of the kitchen. There décor is a mixture of maritime and natural ornaments which fit very well creating an atmosphere that might easily called – zen. The 2 tents can accommodate up to 8 people who undoubtedly love nature, adventure and style. Each tent has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds, all of them very comfortable and covered with baldachin to protect you from the eventual insects. There is also one gorgeous bathroom, a lovely little kitchen fit for preparing most of your desired meals and a dining area with an extendable wooden table. The paved courtyard of the tent has a nice pool surrounded by some sun beds, making it an excellent place to enjoy some time under the sun and marvel at the grandiose view of the Adriatic sea right in front of you.
As for your options outside the property, Murter is an island worth exploring, it has magnificent sandy coves on its southern side and lovely beaches throughout all its coast. Most of your daily shopping need can be fulfilled nearby in the town of Murter. The island offers a lot in terms of summer content, like rent-a-boats, skydiving, fishing, jet-ski, a number of fine restaurants and bars, etc. When you’ve gotten acquainted with the island, in case you are willing to explore a bit more, here are some options: if you are interested in history and architecture, we suggest you visit the cities Zadar (48km) and Šibenik (32km). Vodice (20) is a town in which you can find a lively nightlife, with the clubs, bars, festivals and similar. If, however, your interest lies in discovering great natural beauties there are quite a few: the National Park Krka near Šibenik, NP Kornati, NP Paklenica (close to Zadar) and the Nature Park Telaščica.
