Villa Linda is situated in the old town Bol, on the island of Brač, the largest and one of the most beautiful islands of the Adriatic. Here you can find both some peace and quiet and a wide selection of engaging summer activities, with a lot of options in terms of exploration.
This lovely villa is in a quiet part of Bol, near the Dominican Monastery, yet sufficiently close to the heart of the events and nightlife. The house is designed in a traditional fashion with a touch of modern, both in an excellently attuned ratio. The house is built out of high quality stone, typical of the locality, with a red tiled roof and a porch, the roof of which is supported by white concrete pillars. The spacious terrace and sun deck are nothing short of fantastic – the whole area is paved by stone tiles, apart from the garden and upper levels of the terrace which are rich in vegetation of all sorts. There is an infinity pool and a jacuzzi by the sun deck, and number of sun loungers is available for your leisure. From there you can enjoy the truly spectacular view across the sea, all the way to the island of Hvar. On the porch, there is an open fireplace fit for barbecue, next to which is an sink with a faucet, making meal preparation a real breeze.
If the exterior isn’t quite enough to enchant a demanding soul, the interior is there to raise the standard even higher, with the great organization of space, carefully picked furniture, state of the art kitchen, bathrooms, and more. The walls are white in general, and that in combination with a sufficient number of windows allows for the accumulation for a lot of light within the house, creating a feeling of freshness and serenity. Some of the walls, however, are purposely in stone, adding flavor to the rooms of the house. The furniture is just lovely, in all kinds of complementary colors, though nothing too conspicuous. Altogether, the components of the interior create a tasteful harmony you are sure to enjoy spending time around.
The villa is ideal for families or 2 couples, having 2 rooms with double beds and one bathroom. It is equipped with a washing machine, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, dishwasher, safe deposit box, alarm clock, microwave, stove, oven, air conditioning and three plasma TVs. There’s a private parking space available, as well as the internet and Wi-Fi connection.
A 10-15 minutes walk takes you to downtown Bol where you can enjoy all sorts of content, such as bars, restaurants, town exploration, rent a boat, wind surfing and more. From there you can visit one of the beautiful beaches in the town’s proximity, most known being Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape). Other interesting options for exploration might be Vidova Gora right above Bol (the highest peak of Brač offering a stunning view in every direction), Supetar (the island’s official center, providing a lot of content in the likes of festivals, fisherman fests, etc.) and Blaca hermitage (a remote 16th century monastery built into a cliff).
