These 4 lovely wooden houses are located in a place called Ivinj, situated between the towns of Tribunj and Tisno (Sibenik-Knin County). The property is positioned on the outskirts of the residential area, which provides a fair amount of privacy. The position also offers the possibility of choosing the most attractive beaches within just 2 kilometers, beaches that are relatively unvisited due to the tourists’ lack of knowledge of the local terrain. The houses are designed in a creative way as opposed to the majority of the local architecture, mainly because they use wood as their base material. Wood is used because of its many positive characteristics like its versatility, abundance due to being a natural source, resistance to the elements, great insulation, biodegradability, low carbon footprint and last but not the least – its aesthetic qualities, especially its ability to radiate warmth and make one more in touch with the lush natural surroundings. As you exit each the houses you find yourself on a lovely wooden terrace, where you can enjoy your morning coffee, breakfast, lunch or any sort of leisure time in the company of your loved ones. The property’s pebble courtyard is also a very lovely sight, and some of the furniture only enhances the overall picture, like the comfortable sofas and chairs, wooden coffee tables and a hanging chair suspended from the chain that is attached to the pine trees. There is also the advantage of having a swimming pool in the courtyard, with a number of deck chairs to enjoy your time under the Sun! Right by the pool you will find an outdoor shower, and there are barbecues near the houses as well.
The interiors of the houses are very delicate and elegant, with a number of wooden elements, like the hardwood flooring, beams, cupboards, wardrobes, even some wall surfaces. The overall theme of the houses is white and brown, which go together excellently and create a nice, romantic atmosphere. These surfaces reflect a lot of sunlight as well, giving each place a feeling of cleanliness, freshness and openness of space. The kitchen in every house is fully equipped with all the necessities in terms of meal preparation, and it is in the same room as the dining room and living room. The houses have two bathrooms and two bedrooms with comfortable beds, each providing space for 4 people. Two houses have one double bed in each bedroom, while other two have a double bed in one and two single beds in the other bedroom. The bedrooms have direct access to the terrace and offer enough room to store your belongings. The houses are air conditioned, with internet and WiFi for mobile devices.
Ivinj is a village in Tisno County. It is a great place for everyone with interest in history for a number of reasons – near the sea there is an old roman rustic villa (around 200.AD.), the oldest historical heritage of the locality. Furthermore, there is a Romanesque church of St. Martin (11th century) , and not far from it an early Christian basilica (middle of the 5th century) and hints of the middle-ages tombs. As far as your daily needs in terms of shopping and leisure, as well as the many summer activities like rent-a-boat, sailing, watersports and the likes, you can find it all in the lovely village of Tisno.
