The significance of the street is one of the advantages of the apartment, meaning you have everything you need at a hand’s reach – a smaller shop is only a few steps from the main entrance, as is the parking lot. The tram station is 3min away, fast food places are numerous in the vicinity, as well as café bars and a 24/7 tobacco store.
The apartment is on the first floor and with a surface of 150m2 it has plenty of space for a group of friends or a large family. These apartments in the historical part of Zagreb are known for their high ceilings and a series of connected rooms, much like with the old villas of Austro-Hungarian empire. The apartment, furnished recently in modern style, almost seems like an art gallery, and a number of excellent and tasteful framed paintings are there to support the claim. The first room upon entering the apartment is the entry hall, with coat hangers and shoe storage. On your left side is a WC. You proceed eastward through the door connecting the hall with a hallway leading right towards the kitchen. On the left side from these door is a bedroom with a single bed. Directly in front of the door is a pantry. Then you reach the kitchen, which is fully equipped for all your needs in terms of meal preparation – a stove, an oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a fridge and all the necessary utensils. Next to the kitchen is a bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. The hallway ends in a lovely living room with two large couches and windows overlooking Vlaška street and plenty of fine furniture, as well as an LCD TV. The flooring is wooden, as is some of the furniture, making the room feel warm and very pleasant. As you turn westward from the living room you reach a complex of 4 bedrooms, 3 with double beds and one with two single beds, all of them delightfully comfortable, with nightstands and lamps next to each. Two of those rooms are overlooking the street. There is one more bathroom in this area of the apartment, featuring a Jacuzzi bathtub and a toilet. Being close to the center of Zagreb brings many advantages and an abundance of things to explore, but there are many more on the outskirts as well. Some of the things to check out, that are near the center are: Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary (the tallest and the most monumental sacral building in Croatia, a typically gothic church of great architectural and cultural value), St. Mark’s Church, Ban Jelačić Square (the central square of Zagreb), Gornji Grad – Medveščak(translates as ‘’upper town’’ referring to its historical location on city’s hillside), Dolac Market (a large market with fresh fruit, veggies, meats and fish, along with flowers), LotrščakTower (which blasts its cannon every day at noon), Mimaramuseum and a lot more. As for activities on the outskirts, Maksimir Park is a great place to have a picnic, go for a run or just walk around enjoying its diverse flora. There is a zoo in the Park as well!
