This lovely villa is situated in the village of Splitska, some distance away from the center of the village. Being on the waterfront and surrounded by lush vegetation and only a few small houses, the villa is an excellent place to spend a peaceful vacation in privacy and good company of family and friends. The villa was built in traditional Mediterranean style, using high-quality island stone as its primary construction material. The architecture of the villa incorporates a touch of modernity, making the few major shapes of the villa vertical cuboids with a traditional red tiled roof. Stone walls enclose the property, and the spacious courtyard around the villa offers plenty of fun content. You enter the property through the iron gate and park behind the villa. In this part of the property you can find a small pergola with tiles on wooden supports, shading the stone fireplace fit for preparing delicious barbecue. As you go around to reach the front of the villa, you find yourself on a large patch of ground strewn with pebbles. There is a paved part here which houses a lovely swimming pool with a sun deck, where you can spend some time under the sun. The front of the villa, facing the sea, has a terrace with a table and a set of chairs where you may enjoy outdoor meals. Outside the property, on the rocky shore, a concrete platform was built to make the entrance to the clear azure sea more approachable.
The interior of the villa is modern and very pleasant, with all the rooms and elements within them used and positioned in an optimal way. There is a number of wooden objects, like the dining room table, living room coffee tables, commodes and cupboards, which emit warmth into the place. Décor varies throughout the villa, mostly consisting of maritime-themed ornaments and framed paintings or pictures, with one particularly interesting addition in the form of a large wooden sculpture of a penguin. The blue sofas of the living room are very elegant and comfortable, as are the double beds within the villa’s 4 bedrooms. The bathrooms and the kitchen are fully equipped for your daily needs and furnished in accordance with the theme of the rest of the interior. The walls of the villa are all painted white, while the floors are covered in light brown-beige tiles – all the colors which reflect the sunlight and make the spaces seem airy and fresh. The villa has SATV, internet access and is fully air conditioned.
The village of Splitska is 4km from Supetar, the official center of Brač, and the property features a free private parking. From Supetar you are connected by ferry to Split, Makarska and other islands, and if you want to explore the island itself, there are plenty of possibilities. Supetar, being the largest city, offers a lot in summer tourism activities, such as rent-a-boats, jet-ski, restaurants, bars, night clubs and all kinds of festivals (music, traditional). Apart from that, some suggestions are the old city of Bol (13km), Vidova Gora (the highest peak of the island, towering above Bol), Blaca hermitage near Bol, the Golden Cape beach (the one from all the postcards) and the Dragon Cave. There’s a lot more to Brač, and you are free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
