What more could you wish for as a destination for your vacation, than a peaceful place surrounded by the great natural beauty, with sunny weather, amazing cuisine and the cleanest of seas? All of those things are common traits for the island of Brač, the biggest and one of the most famous islands in all of Adriatic.
Villa Bol First is situated in the old town of Bol, on Brač. It is a lovely building made from the high quality stone mined in the quarries of Brač (and exported throughout the world), in the traditional fashion of the Mediterranean architecture. The style is present in all the other elements as the green wooden window shades, the red tiled roof and the same stone construction of the adjoining little shed and a covered terrace next to the house. You can park your car in front of the property, on the patio. After that you proceed up the paved pathway to the main terrace of the villa, from which you get acquainted with the content – the parts of the property which are not paved in stone tiles are purposely left as lovely gardens with a variety of plants, many of which emanate delightful fragrances. The terrace has a large swimming pool, perfect respite from the heat of the Sun. By the pool there are a few deck chairs you can use for your leisure. If you get tired of the sun, you may fall back to the roof covered segment of the terrace with a table and a set of chairs and a sofa, and just chill out a while. There is a little shed where a stone fireplace is built, where you can hang out on the wooden benches while making barbecue, and dine outdoors on the table outside the shed.
The villa’s interior is very lovely, containing through its style the essential elements of Mediterranean charm. As the exterior, the interior of the building is designed up to the smallest of details and fully adapted to this unique Adriatic region. The atmosphere within the villa is comfortable and warm, one which almost immediately makes you feel at home. It has a touch of rustic as well, as it uses some elements with stone, plenty of dark wood furniture like tables, chairs, cupboards etc., and wrought metal furniture with elegant iron shapes. The decorations are all tasteful and properly places, and they include a number of framed mirrors, pictures, plants and other ornaments. The villa covers 80 m2 throughout its 3 levels: ground floor, first floor and second floor. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and the kitchen is sufficiently equipped for most of your meal preparation needs. The place is air conditioned, with available internet and WiFi. Your pets are welcome as well!
A 5-10 minute walk takes you to downtown Bol where you can enjoy all sorts of content, such as bars, restaurants, town exploration, rent a boat, wind surfing and more. From there you can visit one of the beautiful beaches in the town’s proximity, most known being Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape). Other interesting options for exploration might be Vidova Gora right above Bol (the highest peak of Brač offering a stunning view in every direction), Supetar (the island’s official center, providing a lot of content in the likes of festivals, fisherman fests, etc.) and Blaca hermitage (a remote 16th century monastery built into a cliff). Enjoy your stay!
