Villa Alexander is an excellent choice for families or friends, who want to enjoy the coast of Croatia and its beautiful clear Adriatic sea. The villa is situated in the bay of Zaton, about 10min drive from the old city of Dubrovnik. The bay is known for its lovely flora and fair weather, along with great beaches. Due to the low population density of the area, you are sure to get proper rest in the peace and quiet of the surroundings, while at the same time having the option of jumping to Dubrovnik’s hustle. Alexander is a newly renovated villa, the style of which can be easily recognized as Mediterranean. Most of it is composed out of high quality stone. Apart from the house itself, the walkway and the enclosure walls are also made of stone, which gives the property even more authenticity. The window shades are wooden and lacquered, while the spacious courtyard of the villa is filled with a wide variety of trees and smaller plants native to the locality. There is also a lovely garden with flowers and rosemary right near the entrance to the villa. It consists mostly of Mediterranean flora and it is regularly seen to by the gardener. Behind the villa, the paved terrace houses a 10x5 meters swimming pool next to which you will find a wooden sun deck. On the deck, there is a number of sun beds to ensure time well spent under the sun. One more advantage of this particular location is the proximity to the nearest beach, as it takes only 3min to get there.

On the ground level of the villa you will find a bathroom, a kitchen fully equipped for all your daily meal preparation needs, a dining area and a spacious living room with a fireplace. The first floor houses master bedroom with a fireplace, a large bathroom and another bedroom. Both bedrooms on the first floor have a terrace with a great view of the bay. The interior of the villas is a fantastic mixture of modern and vintage, with appliances being modern and décor all vintage. There is an abundance of wooden elements throughout the houses, like the dining room table and its chairs, the wardrobes, cupboards, stands, doors and frames, kitchen elements, coffee tables and more. All of these elements make the place feel very warm and pleasant. The light terracotta tiles on the floor, the light yellow walls and the white ceiling in unison freshen up the place and create an airy atmosphere. This is especially visible when sunlight is reflected from all the surfaces. The villa is air conditioned, with internet and WiFi and the property is pet friendly. Maid service is available on request, as well as a private chef.
Most of your grocery shopping can be done in Zaton. The settlement has been a place for vacation since the early times of the Republic of Ragusa in the early 15th century, and almost every noble Dubrovnik family had their summerhouse built in Zaton. There are a few shops and small restaurants in the settlement along with the lovely public beach – specifically, there is one great fish restaurant right on the beach! A beautiful promenade leads from Mali Zaton to Veliki Zaton, the bigger of the two settlements. You can find numerous shops, a supermarket and a bakery in Veliki Zaton along with a lot of charming restaurants where you can taste delicious local specialties and quality wines. There are also several café bars, a post office and a tourist agency. For more content both in terms of shopping and other activities, Dubrovnik is the place to go to.
