You reach this lovely villa via a gravel road leading to a rocky promontory on which the house is positioned. From the parking area you reach the balcony, where you immediately notice the fabulous view of Marina bay, its surrounding coast and the islands further away. The location is about a 20min drive from the old town Trogir, and it is a peaceful, small village where you are sure to find solace and get a proper rest. The villa was built in lovely, Mediterranean fashion, using stone as its building material (though not completely), with balustrades on the balconies and green wooden window shades. The paved courtyard around the house contains various sorts of plants positioned throughout the space, all of which add to the authentic spirit of the place. Especially inviting is the small, round, metal table with a set of chairs from which you may enjoy the great view while sipping on a cup of coffee or tea. From the main balcony, the steps lead down to the lower terrace which houses a 9x5m swimming pool. There are a few sun beds by the pool, and a nice pergola perched on concrete pillars. The pergola is here to provide shade for a small table surrounded with sofas. Next to the villa is a fireplace suitable for making some delicious barbecue which you can enjoy outside!
The interior of the villa is just as lovely as its exterior, if not even more. It is filled with elegant furniture drawing influence from the popular vintage style. There are some cool, comfortable, brown leather sofas in the living room, as well as a few pieces of wooden furniture like the table, the cupboard and the TV stand. All this brown color contained in the wooden surfaces and some other elements like the sofas and kitchen drawers add warmth to the place, that is greatly accentuated through the use of lovely lamps. Decorations are present in the form of lively plants in vases, both big and small. Located to the rear of the house is the bedroom anex which consists of one double bedroom, a triple room and a shower room. Steps from the balcony lead down to the mentioned lower terrace which offers access to a one bedroom apartment consisting of a double bed, shower room and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped for your daily meal preparation needs and the whole place is air conditioned and pet friendly, with available internet and Wi-Fi. Maid service is available on request, as is a private chef!
The village of Ljubljeva represents a perfect location, or a great starting point for all excursions in the closer and wider area. There you will find all you need in terms of grocery shopping, as well as a couple of restaurants, taverns and bars. Being close to famous historical sites is also an advantage – the villa is 40km away from Šibenik and Split, and 20km from Trogir as mentioned before. All of those cities offer a lot to explore, like their history and plenty of fun summertime content, as well as many festivals taking place during summer months. There are plenty opportunities for activities such as cycling, hiking, sailing, scuba diving and other sports. Additionally, you may want to visit the nearest national parks which are sure to blow away all the nature enthusiasts; Krka NP, Paklenica NP and nature park Biokovo. For more information regarding exploration and accommodation, feel free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
