Whether you are looking for a fun holiday spent doing all kinds of summer activities such as wind surfing, sailing around and attending festivals, or a true relaxation in the peace of a quiet part of an old Mediterranean village, this is the right place for you. In each option, you have the nature of Dalmatia’s biggest island to marvel at, its flora, fauna, the history of its towns and the crystal clear sea.
This nice holiday villa is located near the village of Sutivan, on the island of Brač. It is a newly built house within a big property enclosed with a stone drywall. The property covers a lot of untamed ground, making the villa a part of a large natural garden, with a lot of lovely island vegetation (like olive trees, immortelle, lavender, shrubs, cypress and pine, all of which smell fantastic). The advantage of such a position is also its great privacy, allowing you to get proper rest and relaxation under the supervision of only the Sun. As you enter the property through the main gate, you find a small stone house on the left, which is also at your disposal. There you will find bicycles and fitness equipment, and you may use the bikes for a trip to the nearby nature park! The villa has a spacious terrace, which is divided in two main parts. One is directly connected to the house, it has a barbecue and is covered by a canopy to provide some shade if you decide to have your meals outdoors. The other part of the terrace is the lower one with a swimming pool and sufficient space next to the pool to position a few deck chairs and bask in the sunlight.
The interior of the villa is as lovely as its exterior, though in contrast with the exterior’s mostly rustic look. That contrast is mainly in the modern décor, containing a number of fine, elegant furniture. Most of the surfaces are such to encourage light and provide a feeling of freshness within the house, as well as warmth. The walls are white, and the flooring made of light wood-themed tiles. The villa consists of three bedrooms, each with very comfortable beds and each with its own thoroughly equipped bathroom. The kitchen is also fully equipped with all the elements required for your daily needs in terms of meal preparation. If you ever wish to try out some marvelous local cuisine without leaving the villa, a private chef is available on request. A maid service is available as well, on request. The entire place is air conditioned, with TVs in the living room and some of the bedrooms, and with internet and WiFi connection.
For most of the daily shopping needs, you can find a few stores and bakeries around the center of Sutivan, as well as a few cafes. For other content, you might want to check out some of the landmarks of Brač: the official center of the island, Supetar (9km) where, apart from all the festivities throughout summertime, you may explore the town’s history – mostly venetian baroque buildings from the 18th century, along with the 19th century expansion buildings. There is also the old town of Bol (42km) with all the interesting architecture and options such as wind surfing near the famous Zlatni Rat beach, rent-a-boat, jet-ski, etc. Above Bol towers the highest peak of Brač, Vidova Gora, from where you can enjoy a majestic view all around.
