BC52 Holiday Villa

Description

Surrounded by Mediterranean flora on one side and azure sea on the other, 7 km east of Supetar, lies the Splitska cove. During the building of the Diocletian’s palace, Splitska was the port used for loading the stone of Brač and shipping it to Split. In the nearby quarry Rasohe still stands a chiseled figure of Heracles – the work of one of many Diocletian’s sculptors. The place grew around the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Church and the Cerinić family rustic villa. Nowadays it is a small idyllic village known for great home-made food and truly Dalmatian ambient that will surely capture your heart. Nearby coves and beaches in the shadows of pine-trees make this place a great tourist destination ideal for a family holiday.
This villa is a building situated near the waterfront of the bay, making it a very desireable choice for a holiday spent at the hand's reach of the clear sea. It is built in the traditional Mediterranean style, which means that the main building block of the villa, as well as the pavement of the terrace is partly shaped stone. The villa is a perfect choice for all nature lovers, as the property surrounding it is full of life, with many green surfaces and plants of all sorts and sizes. From the side overlooking the gorgeous Brač channel all the way to the mountain chain of the adjacent coast, the large garden descends in levels down to the treeline separating the enclosure from the rocky beach. The terrace on this side of the house is quite spacious, surrounded by shrubbery and palm trees, and with a built in swimming pool. Next to the pool is a set of plastic knit sofas with a coffe table over which looms a big parasol, making it an excellent place to chill out during hot days of summer.
Within the villa there is great life in vivid colors of the furniture and the decorations, which in itself gives the air of warmth and a sort of joyful peace. In the living room there is a big red leather sofa with lovely heart themed pillows, on the walls and throughout the house you can find quite a number of decorations, like the beautiful apstract painting, vases with flowers, pictures and many maritime styled ornaments. The kitchen, which is equipped with all the neccessary elements for meal preparation, is enclosed by a nice stone made bar with a wooden surface, and from the beam on the ceiling a fishing net is hung, adding a truly tasteful touch to the place. All in all, the villa consists of 3 bedrooms (with very comfortable beds), 2 bathrooms, a summer kitchen with a barbecue, two large terraces, indoor and outdoor dining area, the mentioned kitchen and large garden, along with secure parking for 3 cars.
Now for some general exploring suggestions; you might consider visiting Vidova Gora right above Bol (the highest peak of Brač offering a stunning view in every direction), Supetar (the island’s official center, providing a lot of content in the likes of festivals, fisherman fests, etc.) and Blaca hermitage (a remote 16th century monastery built into a cliff). Bol itself offers plenty of entertainment in the form of summer fests, rent-a-boats, windsurfing, jet skiing etc. More information will be provided on your request, so feel free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
