Situated a mere 200 metres from the sea, this beautiful villa is a relatively isolated holiday home located in the village of Povlja, Brač. It is a white building with a red tiled roof and green window shades, with a large open terrace around and in front of it. The roof is at the front side extended to provide shade over one side of the house, where tables and a set of wooden chairs are positioned to encourage meals in the open air filled with natural fragrances of the nearby vegetation enterred in the open untouched ground surrounding the property. The back terrace of the house features a lovely swimming pool, next to which is an upper terrace level suitable for positioning the villa's deck chairs. The view from that side of the villa is truly mesmerizing, as it expands over the large Brač channel all the way to the mountains of the coast.
The interior of the villa is adorned with really fitting furniture where the old fashioned and modern elements intertwine in pleasant harmony. The old fashioned furniture is mostly the wooden chair set along with a dining table, cupboards and kitchen elements, even though the kitchen is completely equipped with all the necessities of modern living and meal preparation. There is a number of delightful decorations throughout the villa, like the vases with plants, pictures and other ornamentation. Each of the 2 bedrooms includes an ensuite bathroom with a shower and a toilet. The entire villa is air conditioned, pet friendly, with available internet and WiFi. Rent a car is available at the property as well, and the locality provides great opportunities for cycling.
For most of the daily shopping needs, you can find a few stores and bakeries around the center of Povlja. Because of its fame for short-time docking and overnight docking, there are a couple of restaurants with superb local cuisine. For other content, you might want to check out some of the landmarks of Brač: the official center of the island, Supetar (9km) where, apart from all the festivities throughout summertime, you may explore the town’s history – mostly venetian baroque buildings from the 18th century, along with the 19th century expansion buildings. There is also the old town of Bol (42km) with all the interesting architecture and options such as wind surfing near the famous Zlatni Rat beach, rent-a-boat, jet-ski, etc. Above Bol towers the highest peak of Brač, Vidova Gora, from where you can enjoy a majestic view all around.
