Villa Tonci is a luxurious new house situated on the banks of a mountain and overlooking the Adriatic sea. It is a great and a very desirable place in many segments, for instance its potential for the quality of rest as the property is situated a few kilometers out of town. This semi-isolated position provides privacy, along with all the peace and quiet you need. Furthermore, its surroundings are simply stunning, and that is evident in each direction you look. Behind the villa looms the great dolomite mountain, a part of the Balkans Dinarides mountain range, called Biokovo. All around the property vegetation is abundant and varied, and it is sure to win you with all its fabulous fragrances carried by the seaward winds. In front of the villa an amazing view can be enjoyed, one of the Adriatic sea and the islands of Brač and Hvar. As for the villa, it is designed in modern fashion with simple shapes and elegant structural elements, its façade colored gray and white. Behind the villa there is a patio leading to the closed garage. On the spacious outer terrace of the villa you will find a garden with some lovely plants, a fireplace where you can make barbecue (you may dine outdoors at the lovely wooden dining table), and on the upper level a beautiful sun deck with an infinity pool and a number of deck chairs.
From the inside, Villa Tonci is just heartwarmingly pleasant and gracious. It is very airy, fresh and open due to all the sunlight reflecting from the white painted walls. The hardwood floors go well with all the white surfaces and other wooden elements like the living room coffee table, the long TV stand, the dining table and some kitchen elements. This kitchen is very modern and gorgeously designed, consisting of wooden and black colored surfaces. It is fully equipped for all your daily needs in terms of meal preparation. Decorations are present in various forms, from the abstract paintings and maritime ornaments, to the lovely yuccas in the living room. The lighting system is minimalistic and very well-designed. The bathrooms and the bedrooms are on par with the luxury of the rest of the villa. They have all the right equipment and lovely design. The beds are very comfortable, as is the living room furniture. The upper floor bedrooms have access to the terraces overlooking the sea. There is plenty of room to store your belongings, and the wooden furniture brings out warmth in all the rooms. All in all there are 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The villa is air conditioned, with internet and Wi-Fi. Maid service is available on request, as is a private chef.
The town of Makarska has always been the center of Makarska Riviera region, both in an administrative, political and economic sense, as well as a center of culture and education. It is a tourist center, located on a horseshoe shaped bay between Biokovo mountains and the Adriatic sea. The town is noted for its palm-fringed promenade, where cafes, bars and boutiques overlook the harbor. There is plenty to explore in the city, like its old streets in the center or centuries old sacral building like St.Mark’s church. There are appealing opportunities outside of town as well, like visiting Krka national park, Biokovo nature park (there are some great hiking trails), the town of Mostar, Dubrovnik, Botanical garden Kotisina, Park forest Osejava and more. There is a wide selection of summertime activities (such as sailing, diving, fishing, water sports, rent-a-bikes, etc.) and fine restaurants offering truly delicious specialties.
