Wherever you go in coastal Croatia, you will surely find amazing things to enjoy. The coast is mostly known for its natural beauties, crystal clear sea and a rich historical heritage. Both the north and the south have much to offer, along with all the islands strewn along the coastline. This beautiful villa is situated on the southern side of the coast, in a village called Mali Ston. The village is right in the spot where the long peninsula Peljesac connects to the continental coast, and that particular location greatly benefits by being amidst lovely nature and providing fantastic views. Another good quality is that the surrounding area has a fairly low population density, so you’d be far enough away from all the tourist hustle and be able to enjoy your vacation in peace and privacy.
The new villa consists of two large, American-style apartments. On its exterior, it is a structure built in modernist fashion, inspired by some of the 20th century architects like Frank Lloyd Wright. It is situated within lush vegetation consisting of various Mediterranean plants like olive, cypress, pine, rosemary and much more. The villa has many spacious terraces supported by concrete pillars, which resembles classical architecture. Its modernist aesthetics, like the simplicity of shapes and the straight lines, invoke great elegance. One upper terrace has a lovely pergola with wooden beams on stone pillars, making it a great place to enjoy your morning tea or an evening glass of wine while marveling at the magnificent view of the bay. All of the terraces are equipped with wooden furniture to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A couple of meters down from the house takes you to the beach. There you will find a stone-paved platform and another wooden pergola with garden furniture along with a number of deck chairs where you can enjoy all the lovely summer days! As for the interior is concerned, two apartments were mentioned earlier. The right wing of the property is intended for the guests, while the owners live in the left wing. The guest wing of the villa has 4 large bedrooms, 4 en suite bathrooms and 2 large terraces. Each of the bedrooms have a comfortable queen size bed. Two bathrooms have a massage pillar, while the other two have massage tubs. There is a launderette with washing and drying machine and an extra toilet. All of the rooms are air-conditioned. Villa accommodates 8 people, but 2 more beds can be added on request. There is SAT-TV and internet connection (wi-fi). Private parking place and a garage are at the guests' disposal. All of the furniture and color choice within the villa are in accordance with the modernist exterior, therefore all of the rooms are immaculate, airy, fresh and delightfully decorated. There are some vintage touches, like the old commodes and some wooden furniture, along with the nice kitchen elements. The living room is connected with the dining room and the kitchen, and from there you can access the terrace. The kitchen is large and fully equipped for your meal preparation needs. Maid service and a private chef are available on request. Pets are welcome!
Grocery shopping can be done in the village, as you will find a few markets and bakeries. Among other things, the village is known for its amazing seafood, primarily sea shell cuisine as the shells are bred in the locality (mussels, clams, oysters, etc.). The village is positioned approximately one kilometer of its larger sister village, Ston. It is linkerd to Ston by the Walls of Ston and is less than an hour northwest of Dubrovnik via D414 highway. Some things to explore are the Mali Stone City Walls, the church of St. Michael, the salt pans and the city of Ston, where you will find even more history to explore and content to enjoy, like summer sports, sailing, fishing and more.
