Being the biggest and perhaps the most well-known of islands of the Dalmatia region in the Adriatic coast, Brač is a place which surely offers plenty – both in terms of nature with its flora and fauna, and in terms of culture with the variety of events and opportunities all throughout the island. If you wish for a place which encompasses both the isolation in the beautiful nature and the commodity of having a town close by, than this is for you.
Villa Pine Tree is a lovely house on the frontline, located in the official center of the island, Supetar. It is a new construction made out of stone and concrete, with white walls and blue window shades. The villa is surrounded by a spacious terrace, which contains a swimming pool. Next to the swimming pool, one part of the terrace is exposed to the sunlight and there you may position the sun loungers to bask under the Sun and get that summer tan! The other part of the terrace is under the shade of the canopy and surrounded by a stone wall. In the corner of that part there is a fireplace, a sink close by and a table with a set of chairs, making an outdoor feast a good option. The terrace offers a magnificent view of the surrounding nature and the beautiful clean sea, and from it you only need a short minute or two to reach the rocky shore and take a swim in the clear sea.
The exterior of the villa is very satisfying, and the interior is equally so, if not more. All the furniture, decorations, colors of the walls and other elements fit together in great harmony resembling some sort of captain’s quarters as it has a number of maritime associations like the amphora, the drawings and sculptures of ships, and more. The main color theme is white in combination with blue, and with a touch of wood every here and there. The villa can accommodate 5 people, having 2 rooms – 2 single beds, a double bed and a sofa bed for kids. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a shower cabin and the other with a bathtub, and the kitchen is modern and fully equipped for all your needs in terms of meal preparation. Internet and WiFi are available and the whole place is air conditioned.
For most of the daily shopping needs, you can find a few stores and bakeries around the center of Supetar (500m), where, apart from that and all the festivities throughout summertime, you may explore the town’s history – mostly venetian baroque buildings from the 18th century, along with the 19th century expansion buildings. There is also the old town of Bol (42km) with all the interesting architecture and options such as wind surfing near the famous Zlatni Rat beach, rent-a-boat, jet-ski, etc. Above Bol towers the highest peak of Brač, Vidova Gora, from where you can enjoy a majestic view all around.
