In the heart of Makarska town, on the southern coast of Dalmatia, a lovely new villa is situated. It is a great place for families and groups of friends as you can enjoy lots of content within the city and outside it. The property is in a quiet neighborhood so you don’t need to worry about your privacy or not getting enough rest. The villa is designed in modern fashion, yet clearly Mediterranean. It boasts simple, elegant shapes, high quality materials and excellent lighting system. By the villa there is a spacious patio intended for vehicle parking, but there is a closed garage as well. Next to the patio and divided by little trees, the main terrace of the villa is positioned. On this tiled surface you will find a wooden table with a set of chairs (intended for dining outdoors) and most importantly, a pool. By the pool there are some wooden deck chairs with comfortable mats and parasols that provide shade from the sun. The villa provides excellent views all around, especially the open Adriatic sea in front of it, as well as the islands of Brač and Hvar. However, being on the foothills of a mountain, if you look behind you will surely be stunned by the imposing Biokovo mountain and its white dolomite slopes.
The interior of the villa is very neat and pleasant, as most of its elements are very commendable and eye-catching. The hardwood tiled floors, wooden furniture and brown sofas emit warmth within the villa, while other, lighter surfaces reflect sunlight, thus making the spaces open and fresh. The main room of the villa is three rooms combined, and those are living room, dining room and kitchen. The lighting consists of small built-in lamps and one lovely ceiling lamp, and decorations are present in the form of beautiful abstract paintings. There are 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in the villa, all of them equipped with comfortable beds and plenty of space in the wardrobes. Aside from the before mentioned kitchen there is another dining room / kitchen which has an exit to the terrace. Both of the kitchens are fully equipped for all your cooking needs, with one being designed in contemporary fashion, and the other leaning towards vintage with its use of wooden elements. The villa is air conditioned, with internet and Wi-Fi for mobile devices. Maid service is available on request, as well as a private chef.
The town of Makarska has always been the center of Makarska Riviera region, both in an administrative, political and economic sense, as well as a center of culture and education. It is a tourist center, located on a horseshoe shaped bay between Biokovo mountains and the Adriatic sea. The town is noted for its palm-fringed promenade, where cafes, bars and boutiques overlook the harbor. There is plenty to explore in the city, like its old streets in the center or centuries old sacral building like St.Mark’s church. There are appealing opportunities outside of town as well, like visiting Krka national park, Biokovo nature park (there are some great hiking trails), the town of Mostar, Dubrovnik, Botanical garden Kotisina, Park forest Osejava and more. There is a wide selection of summertime activities (such as sailing, diving, fishing, water sports, rent-a-bikes, etc.) and fine restaurants offering truly delicious specialties. Grocery shopping can be done in the town’s markets. We wish you a pleasant stay!
