Vila Vele is a lovely modern apartmen complex in the heart of the Adriatic, the beautiful Makarska Riviera. The locality offers much more than just great summer content as it boast magnificent natural riches as well. The complex is situated close to the town center, yet further enough away to provide all the privacy and peace you may desire. Being in such a great geographic position, the views and the scents here are all amazing and enjoyable. In front of the villa is the clear blue Adriatic sea along with the islands of Brač and Hvar, while behind it is the great looming mountain of Biokovo, part of the dolomite mountain range of Balkan. The complex is designed in modern, minimalistic fashion with some traditional elements to give it a genuine look, like the stone façade on its side. The spacious outer terrace has a swimming pool and a barbecue area. Next to the pool you will find a lot of patches of green, as well as some sun loungers and wooden chairs where you can enjoy the hot hours of the day. If, however, you feel like going to the beach, the closest one is a walking distance away.
The complex consists of 5 apartments, all of them furnished in a blend of modern and vintage style, which makes the interiors feel warm and often romantic. The sofas of the living rooms, along with beds are all very comfortable, while the bedrooms have plenty of space to store your belongings. Each of the apartments is air conditioned and features a seating area (living room), a kitchenette fully equipped for your daily meal prep needs and a dining area. Amenities include a flat-screen satellite TV, a DVD player and a radio. All of the bathrooms provide a shower and a washing machine. Free Wi-Fi can be enjoyed throughout the property, while a private parking spot is available for guests of each apartment.

The town of Makarska has always been the center of Makarska Riviera region, both in an administrative, political and economic sense, as well as a center of culture and education. It is a tourist center, located on a horseshoe shaped bay between Biokovo mountains and the Adriatic sea. The town is noted for its palm-fringed promenade, where cafes, bars and boutiques overlook the harbor. There is plenty to explore in the city, like its old streets in the center or centuries old sacral building like St.Mark’s church. There are appealing opportunities outside of town as well, like visiting Krka national park, Biokovo nature park (there are some great hiking trails), the town of Mostar, Dubrovnik, Botanical garden Kotisina, Park forest Osejava and more. There is a wide selection of summertime activities (such as sailing, diving, fishing, water sports, rent-a-bikes, etc.) and fine restaurants offering truly delicious specialties.
