The geological configuration of the hillside terrain, the lower continuation of Dolomite mountain range, made it possible for various Mediterranean flora to sprout and prosper. These include citrus trees, palms, pine forests, fields of lavender, rosemary, immortelle and much more, most of which are known for their medicinal properties and fine fragrances you are guaranteed to greatly enjoy.
Villa Venus is a breathtaking, luxurious villa made to meet all the standards of modern day living and luxury. It is a white, imposing structure designed in modern fashion characterized by the great use and functionality of space, high-end materials, minimalistic aesthetics and plenty of enjoyable content. The villa has 3 floors, with the upper to having prominent balconies and the lower one having an open terrace in the shade of a modern pergola. Next to the villa is the spacious paved courtyard. The western end of the enclosure, the one closest to the sea is marked by a metal fence which spans some 30 meters, next to which a long patio is made with some furniture. Above this patio is the main terrace level which houses a lovely infinity pool, next to which some sun beds are positioned, all equipped with comfortable cushions and shaded by the parasols. The wall behind the pool is very interesting and stylish, separated into levels with narrow distances between each – these distances were just designed to house narrow gardens with various plants and little cypress trees. The lighting system of the villa is very well-executed, both on the inside and out, with the exterior best shown under the subtle light of its built-in lamps. The interior is about what you might expect from a villa of such a caliber, if not even more. There is an abundance of elegant, designer furniture, some of it even leaning to vintage to play a bit with different styles. Décor is very fine and gracious, ranging from lovely paintings, mostly abstract, to sculptures, designer lamps and cool rugs. The villa has 4 spacious bedrooms with en suite facilities, all of which have direct access to the terraces. the villas have 8 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 8 people. The living room is very cozy and stylish, boasting large glass surfaces which let in sunlight and allow you to enjoy the great views. The kitchen of the villa is fully equipped. As for your daily shopping needs, Orasac can provide most of what you need in its shops and markets. It is a village northwest of Dubrovnik, between Trsteno and Zaton. The village was founded around 1040 AD. It holds plenty of interesting content – for instance, you will notice that the houses are built close to each other in the center of the village, which was once a means of protection from the Neretva pirates. You will find many old churches (like the St Nicholas church from 1250) and chapels, including the Arapovo castle, where the chief magistrate of Florence Piero Soderini is believed to have stayed in 1512. Nearby you can visit the village of Gromaca known for its cave and traditional ecological tourism, the village of Ljubac located in a valley between three hills forming an astonishing natural amphitheatre , or go see and most certainly enjoy the Pearl of the Adriatic itself – Dubrovnik!
