After a long year of hard work and fast paced routines, who wouldn’t wish for a vacation where you could really blow off some steam, get a quality rest and refill your energy for the work that follows? Brač is a place where anyone can feel welcome, an inviting place full of natural beauties in terms of flora, fauna and great weather, and equally full of engaging content, especially during the summer months. So if you are looking for both an energizing and a relaxing place, you’ve found it.
Villa Alenka is a newly built house located in a small bay near the town of Milna, famous for having the biggest marina on the whole island, and a very pretty one at that. The villa is made from the world famous Brač stone, an quality material known as the main building block of the US White House. It has an air of a traditional Mediterranean house, especially with the usage of green wooden window shades and red roof tiles. Behind the house there is a driveway where you can park your vehicle, and in front of it there is a spacious terrace under the lovely pergola. On the far side of the terrace is a stone fireplace suitable for making barbecue, and with the table and chair setup under the pergola, it is possible to dine outdoors. Beneath the terrace a beautiful garden descends all the way to the rocky beach. The garden is designed in an appealing way, being constructed in leveled platforms. A stone paved path leads to one of the platforms, where you may position the deck chairs and enjoy the Sun’s rays while overlooking the clear blue sea and the adjacent coast of the bay.
The interior of the villa is modernly designed, but not in a cold and distant way of the futuristic villas, but a comfortable, neat and warm way which is sure to make your stay all the more pleasant. The flooring is wooden, as well as some of the elements like tables, chairs and cupboards, which is a perfect choice in combination with the rest of the elegant furniture, like the big sofa in the living room and the beds upstairs. The kitchen’s elements are a bit darker with a touch of silver, and it is a truly fine design that fits the overall theme. The villa consists out of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large living area with a kitchen and the mentioned terrace with a beautiful view. The kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking needs, the entire place is air conditioned, pet friendly, with available internet and WiFi. Maid service and a private chef are available on request!
A car is recommended for getting to the shops, restaurants and all the other fine attractions of the island. For exploration, you should consider Vidova Gora right above Bol (the highest peak of Brač offering a stunning view in every direction), Supetar (the island’s official center, providing a lot of content in the likes of festivals, fisherman fests, etc.) and Blaca hermitage (a remote 16th century monastery built into a cliff). More information will be provided on your request, so feel free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
