With the approach of summer, many seek a destination to properly refill their batteries after a year of hard work in the fast-paced surrounding of the cities, with all the noise, commotion, smog and many distractions. One way of recharging is by connecting with the riches of nature, such as the clear sea, fragrant flora, lively fauna and nice weather. The other way might be in engaging summertime activities, like sailing, windsurfing, water polo, swimming, jet-ski, food and wine tasting, and more. In each case, here on the grand island of Brač you can have all your wishes fulfilled.
This complex of 2 villas is located in a private resort on the north western coast of Brač, near the bay of Bobovisca. It is delightfully designed in a way that reminds a bit of the colonial villas and haciendas of Southern America and Spain, except for the tropical elements that are here typically Mediterranean. The villas are made out of high quality Brač stone, a famous export material that is also the building block of the US White House. There is a number of concrete pillars that support the terrace and the metal structures of the vine canopies, and all the door and window shades are wooden and painted green. There are a few stone paved terraces in the compound, and the one in front of the biggest villa has an external fireplace, next to which is a kitchen – thus making it a perfect place for barbecue preparation and outdoor feasts. The second part of this same terrace has a lovely swimming pool, next to which you may position a few deck chairs and enjoy the Sun! The villas are connected by pathways through vast vegetation, the gardens here are plenty and home to all kinds of flora – olives, palm trees, pine, agava, rosemary, immortelle and more. It is truly a perfect place for all nature lovers!
The interior of the villas is simply gorgeous, with all the colors, furniture and decorations combined into a unity that radiates great harmony and warmth, which is sure to provide you with the peace of mind and heart. The floors are covered in light brown tiles, and there is plenty of wood within the interiors – for the most part it is the exposed ceiling with wooden beams, and the rest include a great amount of furniture, like the dining table and chairs, kitchen elements, wardrobes, closets and cupboards. All the decorations, like the lovely pictures, paintings and natural ornaments really tie the space together. A great detail is, for instance, the Persian rug in one living room, or the double wooden doors leading to the terrace, all with an arched upper line. There is also a nice covered terrace in the largest villa, with a marble table and benches, surrounded by pillars where you are sure to enjoy your time in the open, with a magnificent view of the sea and the island of Šolta. There are 5 bedrooms (3 in one villa and 2 in the other) and 4 bathrooms, the kitchens are fully equipped for your cooking needs, and all the villas are air conditioned. If you wish to try some tasty local cuisine, a private chef is available on request. Maid service is also available, the complex is pet friendly, with internet, WiFi and satellite TV (which you can watch on the new LCD TVs).
Now for some general exploring suggestions; you might consider visiting Vidova Gora right above Bol (the highest peak of Brač offering a stunning view in every direction), Supetar (the island’s official center, providing a lot of content in the likes of festivals, fisherman fests, etc.) and Blaca hermitage (a remote 16th century monastery built into a cliff). Bol itself offers plenty of entertainment in the form of summer fests, rent-a-boats, windsurfing, jet skiing etc. More information will be provided on your request, so feel free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
