Welcome to the gorgeous Villa Paulina situated near a small village at the hillside of Bjelotina Mountain. The villa is only a 15min drive from the old city of Dubrovnik, and most of other things you might need are in the vicinity. There are many things appealing about this part of the Mediterranean, or the southern coast of Croatia, but probably the two most notable aspects are nature and historic heritage. The villa is near Konavle Valley and from such a position it offers splendid views in each direction. The hillside is rich in various flora and fauna, and you are sure to enjoy the fragrances of pine, cypress, citrus, lavender and many more. Not only that, but the property overlooks the Adriatic sea, making the scene all the more beautiful!
Villa Paulina is a modern villa built in traditional fashion, and many of its elements confirm the claim, one of the main materials in construction is stone, and you will find it in the façade of the house, in the walls of the enclosure and on the paved surfaces. The shape of the villa is a classic Mediterranean one with a sloped roof with red tiles. Green wooden door and window shades complete the vintage look of the place. The property is quite spacious and offers some great outdoor facilities. Right around the villa the paved part of the courtyard was built, but next to that there is a nicely trimmed lawn and a variety of plants, where you can enjoy a short walk. The terrace of the villa houses a long swimming pool, next to which there are some sun beds. Parasols are available to provide shade from the sun, and one canvass pergola is set up at the corner of the terrace under which you will find a table and a set of chairs. Outdoor barbecue facility is available as well. Outdoor area also includes a sauna, table tennis, children’s playframe with slide and swings, garage, shower room and private parking. The interior of Villa Paulina is modern, elegant and full of content. The furniture is new and very comfortable, especially the sofas in the living room and the soft chairs placed around the house. Décor consists of paintings, pictures, ornaments and flowers, and the sunlight reflected off the cream colored walls creates an airy and fresh atmosphere. Floor tiles are wooden-themed, and the lighting of the place is terrific – the built in ceiling lamps and led lamps fit excellently into the theme of the villa. On the ground floor, you have and external access into the hallway, from which you reach the bedrooms. There is a double bedroom with en suite shower room, a regular double bedroom, twin bedroom, a bathroom and games room (with a pool table, foosball and darts). The first floor has a large covered dining terrace, living/dining room (SATV, DVD, PS3, Wi-Fi, i-Pod dock) with doors leading to balcony. There is a fully equipped kitchen, double bedroom with en suite shower, double bedroom regular, twin bedroom and a shower room. The villa is air conditioned, pet friendly, with maid service and private chef on request.
Just 1.3km downhill you will find a café and post office or Gruda (5km) has mini markets as well as a butcher, baker and choice of restaurants. Ljuta (2.6km) has two popular waterside restaurants. Dubrovnik is claimed to be one of the most beautiful places in the world, mostly due to its perfectly preserved centuries old architecture, rich history, warm southern climate, emerald green and dark blue sea spilling into numerous bays and coves, with steep reefs decorated with lush Mediterranean and subtropical flora. The City of Dubrovnik is under UNESCO protection due to its long history and heritage – the real origin of the city is unclear, but it certainly is an old city, persevering on its stony cliffs for at least 14 centuries. There is a lot of things to do and explore within the city limits, and these are some of them: you can enjoy dramatic views of the sea and the cliffs by taking a walks along the defensive walls of the city, visit the monastery on an island of Lokrum 600m from the city (by ferry or kayak), and much more.
