This gorgeous property is situated in the Dubrovnik Riviera, 10km from the Pearl of the Adriatic itself, the city of Dubrovnik. The locality is known for its cove-filled coast, clear and clean Adriatic sea and an altogether purely majestic nature. The area is amidst the hills which are a continuation of a Dinaride mountain range which includes the famous Croatian mountains – Velebit, Dinara and Biokovo. Such a geological configuration gave birth to lush flora and fauna, and you are bound to set your sight on cypress and pine forests, palm trees, lavender fields, rosemary bushes and plenty of citrus trees. The view from the villa is astounding, covering a wide surface of the sea, along with Elafiti islands of Lopud, Sipan and Kolocep. You will find true peace here as well, as the neighboring area is really quiet and scarcely inhabited.
The villa is relatively new but it was built in traditional fashion, making it one of the places where you can experience the true spirit of the Mediterranean. It is a perfect choice for a family of a midsize group of friends. There is plenty of stone throughout the property, which further accentuates the traditional inspiration. Right in front of the villa there is a terrace with a table and a set of chairs where you can enjoy your morning cup of tea or coffee, while under the shade of a metal pergola covered with vines. Next to it is an upper area with a table and some stone benches, and with a fireplace nearby it is a good place to enjoy outdoor meals. As you descend from the terrace, you reach the stone paved courtyard enclosed by stone walls. The area is decorated with some plants and vases, and it houses a lovely swimming pool. Next to the pool there are some sun loungers, so you shouldn’t have any trouble relaxing in the sunlight and refreshing every now and then in the cool water of the pool. There are some toys the children might enjoy, if they won’t be too busy running around the spacious courtyard. The interior of the villa is equally, if not even more stylistically successful than the exterior. The colors are combined in great harmony with one another, ranging from the major part of white and brown, with an addition of some others like pistachio green and beige. The bedrooms of the villa are specific in that each one is painted in different color, like royal purple, green or yellow. Plenty of wooden furniture, some of it vintage, bring warmth to the place and fit into the picture really well. The sofas, the beds and chairs are all modern and very comfortable. There are 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The kitchen and the bathrooms are equipped for all your needs. The villa is air conditioned, with internet and Wi-Fi access. Maid service is available on request, as is a private chef. You are also free to bring pets!
As for your daily shopping needs, Orasac can provide most of what you need in its shops and markets. It is a village northwest of Dubrovnik, between Trsteno and Zaton. The village was founded around 1040 AD. It holds plenty of interesting content – for instance, you will notice that the houses are built close to each other in the center of the village, which was once a means of protection from the Neretva pirates. You will find many old churches (like the St Nicholas church from 1250) and chapels, including the Arapovo castle, where the chief magistrate of Florence Piero Soderini is believed to have stayed in 1512. Nearby you can visit the village of Gromaca known for its cave and traditional ecological tourism, the village of Ljubac located in a valley between three hills forming an astonishing natural amphitheatre , or go see and most certainly enjoy the Pearl of the Adriatic itself – Dubrovnik! We wish you a pleasant stay!
