What better way to kick off your vacation then on one of the most beautiful and well known islands of the Adriatic archipelago? The island of Brač is often praised as the loveliest and most engaging of them all, and this villa found its place right on the island’s coast.
Situated in an ancient village called Splitska, nowadays a place that still owns the air of Mediterranean tradition, this villa is built in a rather modern fashion, yet it completely fits in its surroundings. The villa possesses a relaxing tone all throughout both the exterior and the interior – from the outside, it is a simply shaped building with white and cream façade, and the brown wooden window covers, typical of the locality. The courtyard’s garden is lavished with pretty vegetation, the pathways paved in stone, and you can find a respite from all the heat in the villa’s swimming pool!
Upon entering the villa the afore mentioned serene feel is further encouraged; the walls are all white, giving the whole place openness, and windows are positioned all around, providing for a lot of light within. The furniture fits in perfectly, being of modern elegant design, mostly dark and metallic colored, yet not at all intrusive. You’ll especially like the two comfy leather sofas in the living room! Furthermore, along with the three rooms (providing space for 6 + 2 people) and three lovely bathrooms, there is a large terrace on the top of the villa, from where you are sure to enjoy a stunning view all around, whether of the village and the island’s flora, or the bay of Split and the vast sea! To conclude the information of the villa, it should be mentioned that the kitchen is fully equipped for all your meal preparation needs (dishwasher, oven, microwave…), children are welcome, the whole place is air conditioned, with available internet and Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV with SATV and a CD-player. Maid service and a private chef are available on request.
The village of Splitska is 4km from Supetar, the official center of Brač, and the property features a free private parking. From Supetar you are connected by ferry to Split, Makarska and other islands, and if you want to explore the island itself, there are plenty of possibilities. Supetar, being the largest city, offers a lot in summer tourism activities, such as rent-a-boats, jet-ski, restaurants, bars, night clubs and all kinds of festivals (music, traditional). Apart from that, some suggestions are the old city of Bol (13km), Vidova Gora (the highest peak of the island, towering above Bol), Blaca hermitage near Bol, the Golden Cape beach (the one from all the postcards) and the Dragon Cave. There’s a lot more to Brač, and you are free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
