There is something especially inviting in the thought of vast natural beauties of the Mediterranean, the abundance of dry, green vegetation and the daily rise of their fragrances, forced out by the heat of the Sun and dispersed through the islands by the gentle winds from the open sea. This atmosphere is for some the main way to harness energy lost throughout the year’s hard work. If you are looking for a good place for that refill, in the company of your friends, family and pets, you’ve found it.
Villa Sanela is a magnificent holiday home in Sutivan, on the island of Brač. Built in the middle of a beautiful orchard with an astonishing view of the sea all the way to the mountain of Biokovo on the continental coast, this villa will definitely ensure you with the proper and quality time off. The property is designed in sort of a ranch style, or a hacienda perhaps, with a good deal of Adriatic touch. It means plenty of stone and plenty of nature everywhere you look. The villa is surrounded by, apart from great views, a great number of olive trees and a lovely garden full of fresh fruits and vegetables just for you to pick from. There is a swimming pool by the villa to ensure proper refreshment during the high sun period, a nice little frog pond in front of the house next to which a swing set and a slide are installed, where the children can enjoy in their playtime. The upper terrace of the house is spacious and has a Jacuzzi installed. The extravagant pool has not one, but three levels - the Jacuzzi trickles into the shallow end of the pool, while gently sloping into the deeper end of the infinity pool. The pool lounge area is built from world famous stone from Brac.
If you are looking for some privacy, it is just the right place, having in mind the seclusion of the property (it is situated in a family orchard enclosed by stonewalls and a gate). The interior of the house is invitingly beautiful, with plenty of open space. The tidiness, white painted walls and ceilings and bright tiles in combination with a great number of large glass slide doors allow for a lot of light to enter the inner spaces. The glass doors are also invaluable in the fact that they provide gorgeous views from within the villa! Most of the furniture is very elegant, with sharp design and subtle colors, and decorations throughout the house are carefully picked and very fitting into their surroundings. The villa has 3 bedrooms, each with blissfully comfortable beds and enough storage for your belongings, and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen if fully equipped for all your cooking needs, and if you ever wish to try out some tasty local cuisine at home, a private chef is available on request. A maid service is available as well. The villa is air conditioned, with internet and WiFi, SATV and pets are welcome.
For most of the daily shopping needs, you can find a few stores and bakeries around the center of Sutivan (500m), as well as a few cafes. For other content, you might want to check out some of the landmarks of Brač: the official center of the island, Supetar (9km) where, apart from all the festivities throughout summertime, you may explore the town’s history – mostly venetian baroque buildings from the 18th century, along with the 19th century expansion buildings. There is also the old town of Bol (42km) with all the interesting architecture and options such as wind surfing near the famous Zlatni Rat beach, rent-a-boat, jet-ski, etc. Above Bol towers the highest peak of Brač, Vidova Gora, from where you can enjoy a majestic view all around. For more information regarding exploration, feel free to ask! We are looking forward to your stay!
