For a vacation spent in a place of peace and quiet, yet with a lot of opportunities for exploration and engagement into the popular summer activities, you’ve found the right place. Donji Humac is an old village situated on the island of Brač, and Brač is the island known by many as the biggest and loveliest of all the islands in the Dalmatia region of the Adriatic coast. The nature of the island is lively with all the flora and fauna, all the fine scents and the pleasant climate, and the content of possibilities is plentiful.
Villa Dugopolje is a beautiful villa in the heart of Brač, Donji Humac, and it is a place which will ensure a memorable vacation. It is a stone and concrete villa within a big parcel of land, and the parcel is very well used. You enter the compound through the iron gate, after which you proceed along the patio to the parking space. Beside the villa there is a rather spacious terrace paved in stone and enclosed by a low drywall. A 50 m2 swimming pool is a part of that terrace, and a number of deck chairs are positioned around it. To provide cover from the Sun, you can use the available parasols. The rest of the surrounding area is natural land, with rich vegetation, like olive trees, lavender, rosemary and more. There is also a vineyard on one side of the land. Next to the villa, a part of the terrace had an outdoor fireplace made of stone, and a table right next to it where you can enjoy barbecue outdoors.
The interior is furnished in a traditional fashion, but with mostly modern furniture which really fits into the place. The ceiling is dark wood, the color of tiles is light brown and there are many of wooden elements within the villa. All this wood combined with the soft lighting creates a warm atmosphere, and the whole place feels very welcoming. In the living room there is a brick and stone fireplace which further enhances the rustic, romantic feeling of the theme. There is also a lot of fitting ornaments, pictures and plants carefully positioned throughout the house that really tie the whole place together. Most of the elements of the kitchen are also wooden, but it is equipped for all your needs in terms of meal preparation. Also within the house are 5 furnished bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The house is air conditioned, pet friendly, with an available internet and WiFi connection. The owner has wine and meat if you are in need for something local, and maid service along with a private chef are available on request.
