Finally, as holiday season approaches, it is time to plan out your own vacation. There are many choices all around the globe, most of them depending on the available funds, but one of them is exceptional both in terms of its economic advantages and the simple beauty of its nature. That is Croatia, a small country filled with great natural beauties all the way from the eastern lowlands to the southern coast. The Dalmatian coast is known for its islands and archipelagos, along with the mountain ranges on the continental side and the lovely ecosystem created by terms the natural laws have set. If seaside is on your mind, the coast of Croatia is a near perfect choice!
For an added touch of luxury situated on the very waterfront of Novigrad sea, one couldn’t go wrong with Villa Tonka Lux. It is a modern building containing all the great characteristics of contemporary architecture, like the simplicity of shapes and elegance of lines, functionality of space and harmony with the surrounding nature. The building also uses stone as a façade cover, to give it a proper Mediterranean touch. It is even more obvious in the usage of a nice wooden pergola perched atop stone pillars right next to the villa. The house is also separated into three levels, which is exquisitely done by the architect’s hand, as you can see from the pictures. Now, the terrace is also something you are sure to enjoy, as its content offers some pluses. It boasts a stone oven and a few wooden tables with chairs and benches, so you can make barbecue and proceed to enjoy it outdoors. There is also a large illuminated swimming pool surrounded by a number of sun beds and offering a perfect view of the Novigrad sea and the surrounding coast. The villa also offers a direct access to a private beach upon which a wooden sun deck is positioned.
The interior of the villa spreads over three floors, as mentioned: it has four en-suite bedrooms, a large living room with a kitchen, a LED TV and Internet access (Wi-Fi) in all rooms. A notable aspect of the villa is the positioning of the bedrooms and the size of the windows there, as the beds are oriented towards the large windows offering a perfect view the moment you wake up. The interior is also very elegant in its design, using some wooden elements as furniture, stone coverings on the walls, fine lighting like the optional neon around the kitchen and the living room and much more. The utility elements are state of the art, and so the kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessities for modern living. Lovely decorations are present throughout the villa, like small vases with flowers, paintings and pictures, while the designer lighting helps to accentuate the décor. Each room is air-conditioned, giving you full control over the temperature. Parking is available directly behind the house. Maid service and a private chef are available on request. The villa is pet friendly!
There is a small supermarket, fruit-vegetable-fish market, a cafe and a restaurant in the village of Posedarje, so you shouldn’t have any trouble with the basic grocery shopping needs. However, if you do wish for a richer choice both in terms of shopping and in terms of exploration, we advise visiting the closest city, Zadar. It is one gorgeous and the oldest continuously inhabited Croatian city. It has a rich history which can be learned by visiting many old streets, churches, buildings and forts dating all the way back to the Venetian times, the Crusades and even longer before that. Apart from its history, it offers a lot of content like bars, restaurants, night clubs, rent-a-boat, sailing, diving, sports and much, much more. There’s plenty to see inland as well, like the three national parks – Paklenica, Plitvice Lakes and Krka, offering hiking, rock-climbing and swimming near waterfalls. For more information regarding exploration and accommodation, feel free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
