Brač is a perfect place to get a much needed rest from the commotion of the fast-paced everyday life. Its nature is vast, scattered all over the island, and much of it includes plants like olives, lemon, rosemary, lavender, immortelle, all of which spread sweet and gentle fragrances throughout the island. The sea is one of the cleanest parts of the whole Mediterranean, and the climate is truly refreshing. So if those are the things that you enjoy, this is the place. But the island offers so much more!
Beautiful Villa Erika is situated in a private resort Tiha mala, just a couple of minute drive from Sutivan. It is built on the banks of the island, close to the waterfront and its good position offers a magnificent view of the sea and the surrounding land, one you are sure to like. It is a white house with green window shades and red roof tiles, and in front of it there is a lovely paved terrace. From it, a paved stairway descends down to the ground path that leads you to the rocky beach which has a number of wooden platforms to position yourself. On the terrace there is a fireplace built into the structure of the villa, and right next to it a wooden table with chairs around, providing a place for outdoor meals.
The interior of the house if very tastefully decorated and the atmosphere is warm. The floor is covered in rust brown tiles, the ceiling pure wood and the furniture is lovely – mostly composed out of wrought metal chairs (also the beds in the bedrooms) and wooden tables and other elements, such as bookshelves and commodes. There is also a number of pretty paintings and pictures decorating the house and lifting the atmosphere. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living room. The internet and WiFi are available as well. Altogether, it is a place that is sure to make you feel as comfortable as at home, and at the same time containing that Mediterranean spirit everybody longs for on their vacation.
For most of the daily shopping needs, you can find a few stores and bakeries around Tiha mala the center of Sutivan (2km), as well as a few cafes. For other content, you might want to check out some of the landmarks of Brač: the official center of the island, Supetar (10km) where, apart from all the festivities throughout summertime, you may explore the town’s history – mostly venetian baroque buildings from the 18th century, along with the 19th century expansion buildings. There is also the old town of Bol (44km) with all the interesting architecture and options such as wind surfing near the famous Zlatni Rat beach, rent-a-boat, jet-ski, etc. Above Bol towers the highest peak of Brač, Vidova Gora, from where you can enjoy a majestic view all around.
