Bol is an ideal place to either relax or be as active as you like, with the 27 court tennis center, windsurfing, kite surfing, diving, mountain biking and walking. Brač is the largest of the Dalmatian islands and easily accessible from Split. It has numerous old fishing villages, crystal clear waters, white pebble beaches and a good transport system. Because of its rich history, each place offers you a look at a little bit of the past while enjoying its natural beauty and modern day amenities.
Villa Bol Gardens is on the outskirts of Bol, a couple of minutes driving distance from the center of town. It is a lovely property consisting of 2 villas, a spacious terrace and a large garden. You access the property through a paved patio, and there is a parking space under the tarpaulin canopy behind the house. In this backside area there is a stone fireplace fit for making barbecue, and there is an option to dine outdoors on the terrace in front of the house. Built inside the wall of the villa on the front terrace is another fireplace. The terrace in front of the villa is shaded by a red tiled roof, and from there it descends a few steps to the open terrace with a swimming pool. Next to the pool there is enough space to place a couple of deck chairs on which you can enjoy the sunlight in all its glory! Remainder of the property, roughly the same surface as the one supporting the house and the large terrace, is a large garden with all kinds of different vegetation near which you will surely enjoy spending time. Outside the fenced enclosure is basically natural land of the island, untouched vast and beautiful wilderness that guarantees privacy and glorious views.
The interior is just as lovely as the exterior, with the fine combination of colors like the azure blue ceilings, beige drapes, dark wood flooring, and white of the walls with a touch of metal within some of the elements. The house is furnished very elegantly and in a practical modern fashion, with the great use of space. On the ground floor the villa offers two bedrooms, one bathroom, open plan living room and a kitchen, leading to the large covered terrace mentioned earlier, which has separate dining and seating areas. On the first floor is one bedroom, two additional beds and one bathroom. The kitchen, as well as the bahrooms are equipped with all the neccessary elements for daily living. The entire place is air conditioned, with satellite TV, internet and WiFi. Maid service is available on request, and if you wish to try out some lovely local cuisine without leaving the premises, a private chef is also available on request.
Once you get acquainted with the town, we suggest you take a walk along the coast to the Zlatni Rat beach, a local landmark that shouldn’t be missed. Out near the beach there are options for watersports, such as the ever popular windsurfing! If you get restless and wish to discover more of the island, there is an abundance of opportunity. For instance, right above Bol towers the highest peak of Brač, Vidova Gora (778m), and from there you can see great beauty in every direction. Be sure it would pay off to visit the island’s top! Furthermore, there’s an old hermitage of Blaca, a monastery which is sure to leave you in awe once you feel the weight of the ages. For the more adventurous types, out near the village of Murvica there is a cave you’d surely enjoy. With an enthusiastic guide and a 45min hike up to the cave, it is an experience worthy of retelling! And all that is only near the town of Bol...
