ST4 Villa Hidden Cove

Description

Sail away from the everyday stress and worries of life and follow the footsteps of old renowned Croatian sea captains and landowners who have been choosing Drvenik as their summer destination for generations. The island is dotted with little stone chapels, reachable by bike or foot along gravel trails and bicycle paths. These roads also lead to other historical localities such as the rural area of Riorušinović village, situated southwest of St. Nikola church and St. Juraj church, famous for its baroque interior and altarpieces by Venetian painter Antonio Grapinelli.

Drvenik Veliki – the only settlement on the island – will greet you with an idyllic atmosphere of a little island village. Retreat to your own beautiful villa spanning over more than 8000 square meters of land, and boasting its own private beach with unlimited and unobscured access to the crystal blue waters of the Adriatic whenever you feel like taking a swim!

Drvenik island is a small, serene island with untouched nature and secluded bays filled with sand and pebble beaches. Locals pass the time producing olive oil and wine, and fishing the way their ancestors have for generations. The island has a marina, post office, shops, four restaurants and a café with daily boat & ferry connections to Split and Trogir. Villa Hidden Cove has found its ideal place on the coast of the Adriatic, surrounded by lush pine forest and 3.5 kilometers from Drvenik town. The villa boasts four bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, atrium, balcony, terrace and tavern. Two bedrooms are directly connected to the villa´s main part and two other bedrooms have a special entry from the atrium. The central area of the villa is an ideal, warm and comfortable place for family gatherings and quality time. Spawning over 35 square meters, the living room connects the terrace, balcony, kitchen and atrium, inviting guests to relax on the lush leather sofas. Helping to keep Drvenik island as unspoiled as possible, Villa Hidden Cove uses energy from renewable sources. Water is obtained from rainfall, with a water tank of 90,000 liter capacity erected for its storage. Electrical energy is obtained from the sun by transformation via solar collectors and is stored in great capacity batteries (1,000 Ah). The villa's heating is also enabled via collectors on the roof, while the hot water tank has the capacity of 750 l. Wall (all rooms) and floor (bedroom and kitchen) heating is provided, using the latest technology of spatial heating in the world. This enables the use of the villa during the colder winter months as well.
