This colorful, lovely villa near Split is an excellent choice for families or groups of friends who wish to explore the Croatian coast and have fun, while at the same time having the possibility of relaxing in peace. Villa Beach is situated in a small village 11km from the city of Split called Podstrana. The locality is known for its natural riches, especially the hillsides behind the villa which are overgrown with lovely Mediterranean vegetation like pine trees, cypress, citrus, olive, fig and much, much more. The villas terraces provide excellent views of the surrounding area, especially the sea and the island of Brac in the distance.
The villa is modern, new and unique, especially regarding its exterior. There are some typical elements of contemporary architecture, like simple shapes and elegant lines following the principles of minimalism, functionality of space and the use of high quality materials. However, particular choices in its design make it sort of a playful piece of art – the colors of the villa are vibrant, a fine combination of white, orange, blue and red. It stands out from the green foliage around it in a fun way. The front side of the villa is rounded and in shades of blue, with the upper floor being supported by red pillars. The courtyard is very spacious and enjoyable as you should find on your first stroll through the property. The lawn is fine and freshly trimmed, and all around the place there are lovely plants like small palm trees, cypress, agave, shrubs and so on. The main part of the courtyard is the swimming pool surrounded with some sun beds where you can enjoy spending hours under the Sun. By the pool there is an outdoor shower. If you want to dive into the sea, the lovely pebble beach is only about 20 meters from the villa! There is a special area within the house designed for feasts, with a fireplace, a wooden dining table and a set of benches and chairs. The interior of the villa boasts elegant furniture and the same playful design as in its exterior. All of the colors blend perfectly, making the place homey and warm. The flooring is wooden, the walls are mostly painted white, and the sunlight reflected from them creates a fresh and airy atmosphere. The living room and dining are in the same space, with a kitchen connecting to the dining area. The living room has a comfortable sofa, a coffee table and a LED TV. There is a nice fireplace in the living room as well, above which the wall is painted orange in a straight line. There are 4 bedrooms in the villa, 3 with double beds and one with a single bed, and the villa can accommodate up to 8 persons. There are 4 bathrooms and the kitchen is fully equipped for your daily needs. The villa is air conditioned, with internet access, along with maid service and a private chef on request.
Podstrana is a nice, quiet tourist town close to Split and located at the foot of the mountain called Mosor. Podstrana consists of five villages, and due to its ideal position, it has been developed as an elite suburb of Split during the recent years. You can enjoy hiking and biking trails (especially if you wish to climb Mosor) and the lovely gravel beaches with a great access to the sea. The prettiest beach in Podstrana is in the proximity of Hotel Le Meridien Lav. The beach has a possibility of renting chairs and umbrellas, and right next to it there is a café and a fine restaurant.
