What better way to spend your vacation than near the sea and surrounded by the beauty of nature? Indeed it is an opportunity many decide to take, and each year more and more people seek refuge from the city life in the warm embrace of nature. The Adriatic coast is known for its beauties, lovely flora, fauna, moderate weather, clear sea and clean air, and aside from that – there is a number of summertime activities to engage in, and simply enjoy your time off.
Villa Nel Mare is an amazing villa built on the rocky shore of the village Bilo near Primošten. The village is a small, quiet area which can give you a lot of peace and privacy. The villa is made in a modern fashion, meaning that its main two anchor points are functionality (or utility) and aesthetics. It succeeds in reaching above standard in both those qualities, as it is a beautiful structure which fits perfectly into its natural surroundings, mainly the stone and the vegetation. It also uses some of those elements as its décor, like with the diverse flora in the gardens of the villa or the pebble covered parts of the terrace. The villa’s courtyard is a spacious area separated into many levels with different functions, like the gardens, the main terrace, a dining terrace with a fireplace built into the stone wall, a sun deck with wooden flooring, deck chairs and a parasol – a perfect place to enjoy some leisure time with a book or a magazine in hand, while every now and then marveling at the magnificent view of the open sea and the two sides of the bay. Another option in terms of leisure is the middle level terrace with a swimming pool and another sun deck with a number of deck chairs. If, however, you feel like diving into the clean Adriatic sea, the lowest courtyard level has a direct access to the rocky beach via the stone staircase. Also, if you plan to charter a boat, there is a possibility of arranging a private mooring.
The villa consists of two units, each with its own entrance. The top floor flat is accessed from the main road level (there is a private parking space on this level as well). Here you will find a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room with its own large terrace for enjoying the solar exposure in the summer, with lovely view of the sea. The massive glass windows enable the entrance of sunlight into the rooms, which, reflected from the white walls, create an open and fresh atmosphere. The outside staircase offers an access to the lower level where you will find a two-floor flat. The two-floor flat also has a lot of light, thanks to a large glass wall. On the lower floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a living room and one bathroom. The upper floor holds three bedrooms and two more bathrooms. One bathroom has a shower room and the other one has a bath. Both floors have access to the terrace and are connected with internal staircase. As for the aesthetic design, the interior is very elegant with excellent choice of furniture, lighting and decor – the furniture is mostly modern, in a variety of colors complementing the overall theme. There are many wooden elements within the villa that give warmth to the space as well. The villa is air conditioned and a maid service is available on request.
For your daily shopping needs, you can find most of what you need in Primošten. It is a lovely centuries old town famous for its huge and beautiful vineyards, the traditional donkey race and the beach Raduča (voted one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Croatia). Aside from all the content inside of town, like the festivals, sports, rent-a-boats, bars and restaurants, there are options to consider is you wish to explore.
