As the holiday season approaches, many find themselves daydreaming about what their ideal vacation might be. It might be somewhere the climate is moderate, pleasant, with clear weather and clean sea… Anywhere far from the commotion of fast-paced city life, from all the noise and dense air, any such place has the potential to refill lost energy and build strength for times to come. Add into the mix all the vast natural beauties, all the lively flora and fauna, and you got yourself a vacation to remember!
Villa Lemon is a luxurious 5 bedroom villa situated in Baška Voda, an old fishermen settlement turned tourist destination, right between the towns of Makarska and Omiš. The villa is in a quiet neighborhood of low population density, so getting a good quality rest in peace is a guarantee. Furthermore, its unique position within lush natural surrounding makes it an excellent place to soak in the beauty of the Adriatic coast with its fine fragrances and stunning views. All around you will see hills, a great mountain range, the sea, flora and even the old stone houses that can take you to a distant past. Villa Lemon is designed in a blend of modern and traditional, as it offers most commodities of contemporary life, with a nice touch of Mediterranean aesthetics to make your stay as genuine as possible. Apart from the white façade, some walls of the villa are made of stone, and the addition of various plants in the courtyard all adds to the spirit of the locality. Enclosed by those stone walls you will find a table with a set of chairs, ideal for outdoor dining. There is a BBQ facility for your use as well. On the side of the house, surrounded by a thick white wall and a row of trees is a fine, paved terrace. This terrace houses a pool, next to which there are a couple of sun loungers, making it an ideal place to enjoy some sun. The interior of the villa is simply exquisite, with a variety of elegant furniture and an excellent use of space. The décor is wide as well, ranging from pictures and paintings to plants and lovely ornaments. Contemporary and comfortable, the majority of white furnishings blend with multicolored patterns and textures to create the ultimate living space. The villa is divided into two floors. The ground floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, living room and a double bedroom. On the upper floor you will find 4 large bedrooms, and so the villa provides accommodation for a total of 8 people. A small 60m road connects the house with the public beach, where you can enjoy the great Adriatic sea! The villa is air conditioned, with internet and Wi-Fi connection and a maid service of request.
As far as grocery shopping is concerned, you can find shops, markets, bakeries and kiosks in Baška Voda. Alongside that, there are a few very fine restaurants (or taverns as they are called in Dalmatia) and some nice cocktail bars. The village, in the old days a community of farmers and fishermen, traders and sailors, was transformed in a modern touristic destination through the hard work of its inhabitants, keeping in that process its core characteristics of a small Mediterranean town. There is much to explore in the place, but more can be experienced in the larger places, like the town of Makarska or the city of Split. There are appealing opportunities outside of the village as well, like visiting Krka national park, Biokovo nature park (there are some great hiking trails), the town of Mostar, Dubrovnik, Botanical garden Kotisina, Park forest Osejava and more. There is a wide selection of summertime activities in Baška Voda and Makarska (such as sailing, diving, fishing, water sports, rent-a-bikes, etc.), as well as a ferry in Makarska that can take you to Brač.
