Villa Rustic Roxana Hvar is a beautiful robinsonian farmhouse property surrounded by the famous Hora-Ager fields preserved in their original form for the 4th century BC. UNESCO put it as a World Heritage Site due to its vast natural beauty and cultural heritage. The size of the property is 3100m2, which mostly falls to the large, open courtyard with paved and unpaved parts. The rest of the property includes three stone cottages reconstructed in traditional Mediterranean fashion. The main material used in their construction is stone, with some wood for inner supports, door and window frames and furniture. The property is situated 1 km from the beach, 3 km from the Old Town, 5 km from Jelsa, 2 km from Vrboska and 15 km from Hvar. It is relatively isolated as there are no neighbors close by, providing you with the opportunity to fully enjoy the gifts of the enclosure. The garden is filled with a variety of plants like cypress, fig, walnut, lavender, rosemary and some very old olive trees. There is a stone drywall around the property, and you can enjoy your leisure time by the lovely little swimming pool, on the deck chairs under the tree.
Both the exterior and the interior of the villa employ a lot of wood, and it is always a welcome addition if you want some warmth and genuine traditional look of the place. Most of the furniture inside is wooden, though often colored white. The walls are also white, with some of them painted violet – a great combination that elevates the atmosphere from the old times and gives it a bit of a modern, chic touch. A number of decorations, like paintings, ornaments, framed mirrors and the likes do well in filling space and tying it all together, and lovely lamps in the rooms create a nice, romantic atmosphere. The property is pet friendly and ideal for couples, families and friends, and can accommodate up to 7 people. It consists of 4+3 beds, 2 bathrooms and kitchens. The property is ecologically friendly, as it employs solar panels for a power supply.
