Welcome to the lovely Villa Maria, a holiday home situated in a small village of Škrip on the island of Brač. The location in itself is a perfect getaway if you are in dire need for peace and privacy, as it is mostly populated by local population. The advantage is the proximity of the island’s official centre, the old town of Supetar, which is only about 5km away, and where you can engage in all sorts of different and fun summer activities.
The villa is really neat and pretty, newly built but with traditional touches which give soul to the house. Around the house the landscape filled with flora, and within the courtyard there are olive groves and organic fruit trees which smell just divine… The terraces has a swimming pool by which a few sun loungers are positioned, and that in combination with a terrific view of the island’s slopes coming down to meet the sea, across which you can see the mountains of the continental coast, is a perfect setup for some quality and well deserved rest. The villa is easily accessible, though a ground path leads to it, and parking space is not a problem at all.
The interior of the villa is very warm and kind of homey, what with the lovely furniture and the decorations. The furniture is mostly wooden, yet very elegant, and the sofa and beds are notably comfortable. There is a number of nice decorations within the house, like the pictures, paintings, shelves and other trinkets which give the place some character. The villa consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and kitchen, it is air conditioned, and internet along with Wi-Fi is provided.
For other content, you might want to check out some of the landmarks of Brač: apart from your nearest town of Supetar with a rich history, there is the old town of Bol (42km) with all the interesting architecture and options such as wind surfing near the famous Zlatni Rat beach, rent-a-boat, jet-ski, etc. Above Bol towers the highest peak of Brač, Vidova Gora, from where you can enjoy a majestic view all around.
