Croatia has become one of the most popular summer destinations in Europe, with many people all over the world visiting to see what’s it all about. For those unfamiliar with its qualities, the best advice would be – come see for yourself. Here you may be thrilled, you may be satisfied, but you certainly will not be disappointed. The vast untouched nature, the lush flora and fauna, clean air, clear sea and sunny days, all of those are the essential elements that the islands of Dalmatia offer, especially one such as Hvar, a high profile island due to its various content. Whether you want to visit to have some fun, experience the culture or enjoy the nature, this is the right place for a memorable vacation.
Apartment House Krešo is an apartment complex situated on the outskirts of the town of Hvar. As the town is not a very big one, as is the way with island towns, the outskirts basically means you need about 20min on foot to get to the old center. As many tourists visit Hvar each year, there may be a significant advantage in the fact the apartment is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. There are other similar houses around, private or rental complexes, so the house fits well in the surroundings. It is a 3 story building of modern design, with a gray-blue façade, high windows and a paved driveway and parking. There complex consists of 3 apartments, each 120m2, and each has a spacious living room with a nice, comfortable white sofa with gray pillows and seats, a wide screen LCD TV, a bar, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen. One of the bedrooms consists of a double bed, while the other has two single beds. An apartment can accommodate up to 6 people, and each one has its own parking space. It is possible for the entire complex to be rented with a maximum occupancy of 18 people on 3 stories. It is also possible to rent out 2 or only 1 apartment. The apartments are all designed and furnished in a modern fashion, with very elegant furniture, wooden flooring and white painted walls. There is a number of ornaments and decorations dispersed through the apartment, each a welcome addition to the place. The mentioned kitchen is fully equipped with all you need for daily meal preparation. The apartments are air conditioned, with internet and Wi-Fi for mobile devices, and maid service is available on request. All of the apartments have a terrace with a coffee table and a set of chairs, and from there you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea and Paklinski Islands, the view for which even Jacques Cousteau, the marine biologist, once commented he’d never seen such clear blue water!
You can find most of what you need in terms of grocery shopping in the town center, along with many bars, restaurants, bakeries, fish markets and more. There is an abundance of summertime options available like rent-a-boat, jet-ski and guided tours, and festivals that are often held in the old town. For exploration, we suggest visiting the mentioned Paklinski Islands (largely uninhabited and often described as being among the most beautiful islands in the world), Šćedro island, the Old Town Plain (if you’re up for some wine tasting), Tvrdalj Castle (a fortified Renaissance-era building that was the summer home of poet Petar Hektorović) and Fortica (a hilltop fortress with picturesque views). For more information regarding exploration or accommodation, feel free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
