Being the biggest and perhaps the most well-known of islands of the Dalmatia region in the Adriatic coast, Brač is a place which surely offers plenty – both in terms of nature with its flora and fauna, and in terms of culture with the variety of events and opportunities all throughout the island. If you wish for a place which encompasses both the isolation in the beautiful nature and the commodity of having a town close by, than this is for you.
Villa Lea is situated in a quiet area on the outskirts of the old town of Supetar, in fact just a few minutes by car to the center of the city with all its shops, bars and restaurants. The villa is a brand new, modernly designed structure with all the great qualities of holiday homes; the spacious terrace by the house has a swimming pool where you can dip in to refresh and take a moment’s rest from the summer heat. By the pool you may position a number of sun loungers and enjoy that very same summer heat and the Sun. The terrace is enclosed with a drywall made of stone which provides a more traditional look, and all around the compound there is an area rich in vegetation to marvel at, such as the olive trees, rosemary, immortalis, lavender and more. The combination of their fragrances is nothing short of wonderful!
But what really steals the show is the interior of the villa. The kitchen and dining room are designed in the spirit of older days, using wood and stone as the basic materials of the theme, which is especially accentuated by the dining table and the benches around it, made of cut and polished tree trunks. Next to the table is a stone indoors fireplace which fits perfectly. There are delightful decorations in the forms of stone plates built into the walls, upon which resides a number of pots with plants and all kinds of lovely ornaments. Kitchen is a combination of white painted elements and wooden surfaces, and it is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. Bordering this room is also an enclosed terrace which is accessed through the glass slide door, if you ever want to take your meals outdoors. There are 3 charming rooms in the house, and an equal number of bathrooms. All in all, the villa can accommodate 8 people, pets are welcome, and both internet and Wi-Fi are provided.
For other content, you might want to check out some of the landmarks of Brač: apart from your nearest town of Supetar (the official center of the island) with a rich history, there is the old town of Bol (42km) with all the interesting architecture and options such as wind surfing near the famous Zlatni Rat beach, rent-a-boat, jet-ski, etc. Above Bol towers the highest peak of Brač, Vidova Gora, from where you can enjoy a majestic view all around.
