After a year of hard work, we all wish for a good and quality rest. And perhaps, memorable as well. There is something for everyone, and people go all over the world to find respite from their usual lifestyle and breathe some novelty into it. For all of those who seek a place with vast natural treasures like abundant flora and fauna, lovely fragrances, beautiful views of the clean sea, the islands and the mountains of the continental coast, Hvar is the right place. Aside from the natural beauties, the island offers much more!
Beautiful Villa Charm is situated in historical city Hvar, close to the center, the city port, the beach and the Piazza. It is a lovely Mediterranean house with a nice little yard with a Jacuzzi and a coffee table. The villa is made in stone, a typical building block of the area, with other traditional elements present, such as the red tiled roof, wooden window shades and plenty of vegetation around the place. Next to the Jacuzzi is a small sun deck with a wooden deck chair where you can enjoy some time under the sun, while a perfect respite from the day’s heat is on a stone bench in the garden, sipping on a cup of coffee or tea. The interior of the villa is very rustic and chic, incorporating an abundance of wooden elements such as the exposed ceiling beams and planks, tables, flooring and a wide range of antique furniture. Such a combination of style and elegance with a proper choice of materials and décor brings a certain warmth to the place and makes one feel relaxed and at peace. Décor is present in various forms like the furniture patterns, lovely chandeliers and table lamps, ornaments and a number of paintings with abstract and figurative themes. In the living room there is a small fireplace, a perfect addition for anyone who enjoys a romantic sort of atmosphere. The villa has three floors - the ground floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, a spacious living room and the lovely yard. A staircase takes you to the first floor which consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a balcony. On the second floor there is a bedroom with a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and a terrace with a magnificent view of the city center, the sea and the beautiful archipelago.
As far as your shopping needs are concerned, the old town of Hvar has a sufficient amount of general stores, bakeries, liquor stores and marketplaces. Apart from all the restaurants, bars and night clubs, there is an abundance of summertime options available like rent-a-boat, jet-ski, diving and guided tours, and festivals are often held in the old town. As for the exploration, we suggest visiting Paklinski Islands right next to Hvar, Šćedro island, the Old Town Plain (if you’re up for some wine tasting), Tvrdalj Castle (a fortified Renaissance-era building that was the summer home of poet Petar Hektorović) and Fortica (a hilltop fortress with picturesque views). For more information regarding exploration or accommodation, feel free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
