BC86 Villa Stolaris

Description

Situated only a short distance from Sumartin’s harbor and the picturesque village of Selca, Villa Stolaris is a luxury villa on the waterfront, in the exclusive Puntinak region of Brač. Brač is the biggest island in the Dalmatia region, and surely one of the most beautiful. With its old fishing villages and towns, lively flora and fauna, and a great number of engaging summer activities, it is a place more than worthy of a visit.
Villa Stolaris is one of the finest properties in this locality, especially being recently renovated and benefiting from a direct access to the Adriatic sea. The villa is built out of Brač stone, one of the main export materials of the region, praised both for its functional and aesthetic qualities. To make the structure more distinctive, there are two types of stone used in its construction, the brighter and strictly organized in adorning the upper level, and a darker stone in the lower level, with a differentiation of shapes and sizes. The terrace is spacious, stone paved and separated into two distinct parts. One is a dining or lounge area under the shade of a wooden canopy, and the other is an open surface with a fine designed swimming pool. Next to the pool you can find a couple of sun loungers for your leisure.
The interior of the house is very tasteful, with mostly modern furniture containing many traits such as elegance, minimalism, harmony of colors and more. The decorations include some very decent paintings, flowers and other plant based ornaments. Much of the space allows the entrance of light through a number of glass sliding doors and windows, which is reflected on the white walls of the villa, thus giving more openness to the space and a fresh atmosphere. The five bedrooms each offer ensuite bathrooms, individually controlled air-conditioning and underfloor heating for winter rentals. The living and dining areas overlook the swimming pool and the terrace, also benefiting from magnificent views the Sumartin bay.
One of the biggest advantages is the villa’s position in regards to the sea, as it you only need about a minute’s walk to the fairly unvisited beach, where you can enjoy sunbathing and swimming in privacy. There are a few restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as shops and bakeries both in the center of town and the bay area. If you want to spice things up by throwing in some exploration, we have a few suggestions. You might want to consider visiting Vidova Gora right above the town of Bol (the highest peak of Brač offering a stunning view in every direction), Supetar (the island’s official center, providing a lot of content in the likes of festivals, fisherman fests, etc.) and Blaca hermitage (a remote 16th century monastery built into a cliff). Bol and Supetar offer plenty of entertainment in the form of summer fests, rent-a-boats, windsurfing, jet skiing etc. More information will be provided on your request, so feel free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
