What more could you wish for as a destination for your vacation, than a peaceful place surrounded by the great natural beauty, with sunny weather, amazing cuisine and the cleanest of seas? All of those things are common traits for the island of Brač, the biggest and one of the most famous islands in all the Adriatic.
Villa Ana is a lovely villa situated in Bobovisca (Brač), about 800 meters away from the sea, the shops and restaurants. The house is constructed in the traditional fashion of the locality, meaning that the main materials consist of stone (a good quality locally mined stone) and wood. What sets it a bit apart from the completely traditional look is its fair size and the spacious terrace. From the courtyard of the house, a stone stairway takes you down to that terrace, and it is a place to spend a real good time for a couple of reasons. The terrace has a swimming pool to refresh in during the hot summer days and a sundeck by it with a number of sun loungers for your leisure. One part of the terrace is covered by a wooden canopy that provides shade over the wooden dining table. Next to the table, built within the wall is a fireplace if you ever wish to grill some meat, vegetables or fish and enjoy your meal outdoors. Apart from that, the courtyard is filled with green surfaces, and one pretty mimosa tree is sure to catch your eye!
The interior of the villa is a sort of a mix of traditional and modern, both in terms of the furniture and the facilities. There is a lot of wooden furniture, and with the wooden flooring and soft lighting, there’s a very peaceful atmosphere within the house. The decorations are all fitting, like the charming pictures and paintings, old school mirrors and book shelves. Spread throughout the two floors connected by the inner staircase are the 3 bedrooms of the villa, 2 bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen fairly equipped with pretty much everything necessary for your cooking needs. Each of the rooms has a sufficient space in the wardrobes to store all your belongings, as well.
Now for some general exploring suggestions; the nearest town Milna is 5km away, and Supetar, the island’s official center is about 15km of distance. You might also consider visiting Vidova Gora right above Bol (the highest peak of Brač offering a stunning view in every direction), the village of Sumartin and Blaca hermitage (a remote 16th century monastery built into a cliff). Bol and Supetar both offer plenty of entertainment in the form of summer fests, rent-a-boats, windsurfing, jet skiing etc. More information will be provided on your request, so feel free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
