Villa Dita 2 is one of two villas in a complex situated on the banks of Biokovo mountain, right above the town of Makarska. It is in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts, surrounded by lush nature manifesting in an abundance of flora and fauna, with magnificent views all around – behind the villas you can see the dolomite rocks of Biokovo, and in front of them a mesmerizing view of the open sea and the islands of Hvar and Brač. The villa is designed in modern style, and it connects its most fundamental characteristics into a magnificent result. The materials used are of high quality, mainly concrete. The shapes and lines follow the principles of minimalism, creating a graceful house worthy of admiration. Its balconies, terraces and the courtyard all provide an excellent view and have a nice blue colored glass fence. Villa Dita 2 has two courtyards, or terraces, next to and in front of the house. The one next to the house is equipped with a table and a set of chairs (behind the table is a fireplace), while the one facing the sea has a number of sun beds, an open shower and a coffee table with a set of chairs. Between the two terraces is a heated swimming pool, where you can refresh yourself during the hottest hours
The interior of Villa Dita 2 is just as amazing as its exterior. Most of the furniture is designer made, along with the lighting. The walls are painted white, while some surfaces are dark gray. Other surfaces, for instance that in the living room are covered by small stone bricks generally in creamy and gray tones. The furniture is very elegant, some of it even seeming sci-fi, but overall wonderful and eye-catching. The villa contains many decorations of various kinds, like figurative and abstract paintings, ornaments, sculptures, candles, large and small plants in lovely vases, nice rugs and other fine additions. There are 3 bedrooms with very comfortable beds, all of them with an exit to the terrace overlooking the sea. The concept of lighting in the bedrooms is very well executed. Along with those 3 bedrooms, there are 3 bathrooms, a dining room / living room and a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, cooker, coffee machine and all the necessary utensils). The place is air conditioned, with an available internet connection (Wi-Fi). Villa Dita 2 welcomes your pets and their stay is free of charge!
The town of Makarska has always been the center of Makarska Riviera region, both in an administrative, political and economic sense, as well as a center of culture and education. It is a tourist center, located on a horseshoe shaped bay between Biokovo mountains and the Adriatic sea. The town is noted for its palm-fringed promenade, where cafes, bars and boutiques overlook the harbor. There is plenty to explore in the city, like its old streets in the center or centuries old sacral building like St.Mark’s church. There are appealing opportunities outside of town as well, like visiting Krka national park, Biokovo nature park (there are some great hiking trails), the town of Mostar, Dubrovnik, Botanical garden Kotisina, Park forest Osejava and more. There is a wide selection of summertime activities (such as sailing, diving, fishing, water sports, rent-a-bikes, etc.) and fine restaurants offering truly delicious specialties.
