Welcome to Villa Ivo in the village of Gornji Humac (Brac), a place wherein you are sure to find some peace and quiet in summer holiday season, or for that matter, any other season. This house is a short distance from the old town of Bol, in which you can find all of the typical entertaining content such as bars, night clubs, restaurants, rent-a-boats, well-known beach Zlatni Rat (featured on a number of Adriatic postcards), and more.
The house itself and the courtyard surrounding it are made in the old fashioned Mediterranean style, which is especially pleasant to the eye: the 500 square meters courtyard is paved in stone, featuring a pool, a barbeque, an arbour and a large garden, with an abundance of lovely greenery typical of that area. The main characteristic of the surrounding flora is the rich fragrance it emits, which mixes with the smell of the seaside in a perfect harmony!
Furthermore, the house is also made out of stone, with red roof tiles and green wooden window shades, but unlike many other similar designs of villas, this one uses the advantage of stone in interior as well as the exterior, and the effect is praiseworthy. The interior’s combination of stone, brown floor tiles and wooden roof, with adequate light colored and occasionally wooden furniture creates a warm and rustic atmosphere which is sure to provide the much needed tranquility and rest from a busy lifestyle.
The ground floor features a kitchen, completely equipped with the elements required for meal preparation of any kind, a living room with a flat screen TV, a dining room and a bedroom with a bathroom. The elegant spiral staircase leads up to the upper floor which features three bedrooms with the same number of bathrooms – all in all, there are four double beds allowing the accommodation of 8 people. Moreover, the whole place is air conditioned, soundproof, with available internet and Wi-Fi.
For exploration, you might consider Vidova Gora right above Bol (the highest peak of Brač offering a stunning view in every direction), Supetar (the island’s official center, providing a lot of content in the likes of festivals, fisherman fests, etc.) and Blaca hermitage (a remote 16th century monastery built into a cliff). More information will be provided on your request, so feel free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
