If you’re dreaming of a Robinsonian sort of vacation, somewhere away from civilization, technology, and all the usual fuss we are all surrounded by throughout the year, than Villa Rob is the perfect getaway for you. The villa is located in its own private bay of Konjska, the most beautiful bay on the south side of the island of Brač, an island which is in itself known for the picturesque Mediterranean scenery, fine fragrances of local flora and clear, clean Adriatic sea.
Situated right at the waterfront, Villa Rob 1 is a lovely house made in a traditional fashion of the locality, completely out of quality Brač stone. The authentic image is further supported by a large terrace also paved in stone, and wooden elements such as the canopy at the entrance of the house, and the furniture it covers. The area beneath the canopy is designed for idling under the cover from the sun, or for enjoying outdoor meals – there is a surface fitted for barbecue in one part of the stone fence. To make things easier, right by that surface is a sink with a faucet to help you with the meal preparation.
As far as the interior is concerned, the look is more modern than the outside of the house, with tiled floors and the walls of the bathroom, a wooden roof, white painted walls, and lovely simplistic furniture. The sum of all these feats creates a feeling of freshness and openness of space within the house, doing justice to the overall atmosphere of peaceful isolation. The villa consists of the kitchen and dining room, three bathrooms and three bedrooms, each with a double bed and altogether allowing space for 6 persons.
So, if your perfect vacation consists of enjoying the sun, the sea, eating fresh food, drinking fine wine and enjoying the company of your friends or family in relative isolation from the outside world, this is the right place. However, if you want to spice things up by throwing in some exploration, we have a few suggestions. You might want to consider visiting Vidova Gora right above the town of Bol (the highest peak of Brač offering a stunning view in every direction), Supetar (the island’s official center, providing a lot of content in the likes of festivals, fisherman fests, etc.) and Blaca hermitage (a remote 16th century monastery built into a cliff). Bol itself offers plenty of entertainment in the form of summer fests, rent-a-boats, windsurfing, jet skiing etc. More information will be provided on your request, so feel free to ask.
